Actually, isn't it transparent that it is about restoring Americans' collective sense of viability as a nation since the only real mechanisms that obscure that simplicity are being orchestrated by those who calculate how to profit from destabilizing the very aspects of self governance we need to recover from globally destabilizing factors' impact on all human societies.

@@jimmiller1686 In Aztec and Hispanic culture, people like the minorities who voted for trump are referred to as "malinchistas." "Malinche" was the daughter of an Indian "Cacíque," or "Chieftain." Malinche was given to the leader of the Spanish Conquistadores, Hernán Cortéz as a gift in good will. She was very intelligent and spoke many regional dialects. The Hispanic world views her as a traitor for guiding the Spaniards to Technóchtitlan, modern day México City. Malinchismo is a Spanish term that describes a preference for foreign culture, ideas, and behaviors over one's own. It's often used in Mexico to describe people who favor the United States over Latin American culture. It is not a racist term, but an ethnocentric one. There is a difference. I hope this helps. Well, despite our differences as a nation, at the end of the day we can put them aside and give thanks that the Big Apple gave us the greatest president that the country has ever seen-Donald J. Trump! He represents the best of our national character-steadfastness, a strong work ethic, diplomatic knowledge based on a keen sense of awareness of how the real world functions outside of the American way of life, which is a good thing considering that the average American has no idea about any of those things, except for those very few who remember what that meant to the older generations who are no longer with us. Anyway, despite what his naysayers say, many people are looking forward to his 4 years in office; not so much due to issues of policy, whether foreign or domestic, but because of his style and personal value system. In fact, my ex-brother in law, Guido Sarducci, who happens to live in Northern New Jersey, Hudson County-to be exact, called me up last week to say how overjoyed the residents within the tri-state area are to have one of their very own home grown sons as president of the United States. They say that over the past several decades, Donald Trump has done so much to bring a sense of joy and purpose to the people of New York City and environs. Of course, I told Guido that none of what he told me was all that surprising, considering how the twin values of generosity and kindness reign supreme amongst the good people of that fine city. All in all, Guido and I had a very nice conversation, which is rare these days in the good ole United States. He went on to eventually tell me that his kids are doing well in school, and that his youngest son, Guido jr. is quite good at making political predictions and that the wunderkind prognosticated that after four glorious years of President Trump, the nation will be once again able to put aside its differences and finally elect its very first Tiktok celebrity for president of the United States! Happy Groundhog Day, y'all! Did Phil see his shadow?

Like it or not, there is a definite trade imbalance that favors Canada, Mexico, China, and practically every other nation, to the detriment of the USA. @ - Potentially. There’s no empirical evidence yet to support the notion that tariffs are going to result in negative economic conditions in the U.S.; the tariffs Tump imposed in his first term certainly didn’t. But obviously, you don’t understand power-negotiating tactics. Take your pick, but either Texas or California have bigger economies than Canada. The impact that Canada and Mexico combined cannot be as impactful on the US as the U.S. can be on them. Same with China. If you want to negotiate a better deal, you have more and better options if you are negotiating from a position of strength. That’s the scenario Trump is putting in place by imposing the tariffs now. When Canada, Mexico, and China have had a chance to experience that swift kick to the family jewels, they’ll be more receptive to negotiating for level trade agreements. Trump’s method is the opposite of the way Biden negotiated; which - being the toothless paper tiger he is - was from a position of weakness. Mexico, China, and Canada mopped the floors with Joe, and that is why trade conditions are so far out of balance. They took advantage of the USA because they knew Biden would let them. It’s really that simple.

It is almost like we can make all of that here. Creating jobs for OUR citizens. Being able to feed ourselves sounds like a wonderful way to live free. I’ve got 10 acres. It isn’t much, but it could feed everyone on my county road. What should I grow or raise? One neighbor raises horses, one neighbor welds and builds, and the neighbor nobody likes raises cattle. So that leaves me with gardening, goats, or pigs. Goats would be good for lactose intolerant neighbors. But I’m thinking gardens would benefit more than substitute milk. Plus, as I’m growing the fields I will have tons of game to hunt to protect my crops. That will bring meat faster than raising animals. Fixing problems requires scraping up your knuckles, elbows, and knees most of the time. Nobody ever promised that the solutions would be comfortable, simply that there will be solutions. I’ll struggle for a couple decades if it means that my children can afford homes.

So is this correct he hasent paid a cent in taxes himeself, but wants to tax other cointries, you know billionaires move the majority of money, even if they paid the lowest tax rate that would help the economy significantly, the richest people cause inflation, all their write offs isnt a write off, They are donating the money back to themselves say you donate money to a church you can essentially own that church under a llc why is church way to write off taxes because they are tax exempt, it you owned the church privately you are protecting your wealth privately without being taxed, fheres many loopholes, The richest control the majority of money they control the economy that way, their the reason there is inflation because they arent paying their fair amount like everyone else, rich keep getting richer and poor keep getting poor the only reason hes trying to tax other countries now is that the economy on the verge of collapsing because they keep doing what their doing i dont believe they should be overtaxed but i think they should just pay the same amount as lowerflass and middle class, the crazy part is even if they paid a low rax rate 10%-12% They still would be rich, this loophole in taxes was made for a reason it was always keep rich people in power and keep everyone modern day slaves, ill say it again they act like they care but they caused inflation they control the economy, the method was working for so long but isnt working anymore, the problem isnt that we need tax other countries to fix the economy we need to tax the billionaires who havent paid their fair share

We get our produce directly from Mexico daily every morning , including Acacados ,Limes, Tomatoes , etc which is then distributed to restaurants and grocery stores all throughout the state including buissness in Other States . I think what people don’t understand is they say the avacado went up say $3 “ok it’s fine we’ll pay it “ but for restaurants that buy per box are now paying 3x the cost , So when you go dine in what do you think your bill will turn out too 🤔 the box of avacados about a month ago was $30-$40 which now is $95-$100 PER box when restaurants require about 10-15 boxes per weeek . So you can see that just one of the products that went up in price out of the many , what do you think your bill will look like when you go out for a nice meal with your family ❗️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ WE MUST SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE

As I understand it, 77% of Canada‘s goods are exported to America, while America only imports around 15% of our goods from Canada. This is going to hurt Canada way more than it will hurt America. Also, no one here seems to recognize that at any point, Trump could remove the tariffs or alter them as he sees fit. In the end, this is probably going to be a short term pain, long-term gain situation just like the gym if we stay the course and stay strong and endure, we will come out way ahead and on top, which is where America belongs. Also, Canada and China and Mexico have a lot to answer for when it comes to illegal immigration invasion, and the fentanyl crisis that has poisoned and killed millions of Americans. Blood is on their hands and if money is the only thing we can do to punish them, then so be it they need to pay for their crimes against us.

You are so right. Trudeux has to go and go now. When the new PM comes into power, these temporary tariffs will disappear. Most of these posters have no idea of what they are talking about. We really do not need China or their child slave markets. Mexico needs to get in line and stop the drugs and illegals coming across our border. We should stop buying cars made in Mexico (they're poorly made anyway.) and quit playing tourist down there, which will hurt the economy right in their wallets.
