Love Martial Arts movies from the 70's and I have lost count how many times I went to late night cinema to watch them, usually double features as well. When was the last time anyone went to the cinema and got 2 top movies back to back ? Then along came the video library and I must have gone through the Martial Arts shelves more than once easily, hiring out the same movies, because they were so good. I have recently been buying Yuen Biao movies on Blue Ray and one of them "Righting Wrongs" also stars Cynthia alongside him. Not yet watched. I'm going to watch Police Story on Blue Ray tonight after watching you talking about it. It does point out that Police Story 2 is in standard definition. You did say the quality was not the same as Police Story which looks amazing so I am looking forward to it. There is more than one version of each movie with different lengths. Thankfully it's the longer version of Police Story that is in HD. Enjoy China O Brian John and thankyou for another great video. Regards Jim

Hi John, Just received my copy a few days ago, “China O’Brien” is the movie from her catalogue that i watched many times during the vhs days & I’ve meaning to revisit her movies again. Rothrock was at the London Movie & Comic Con last year & was looking well & very approachable with the fans, she deserved more movies as a leading action female star in the 80’s & 90’s, think she’s starring in a upcoming western movie last I heard 😳😎

Remember getting these on VHS back in the day, i think mine were from the local library as well, I think this was the first film i remember watching of hers and that got me hooked on finding more. In fact it also got me hooked on Richard Norton who mostly played the bad guy in movies. Thanks for the unboxing mate.

Got my Blu-ray copy today of China O'Brien. Only seen the trailers back in late 90's so it's going to be a fun watch. Also have Righting Wrongs from 88 films but have not watched that either. Bought Jet Li's Black Mask from Eureka and I'm very happy to finally own some quality editions of these martial arts movies. Great video John.

On the fence about ordering this one now that i know it’s both films on one disc. Strange that the regular Blu-ray edition has both films on separate discs. Really don’t like both films being crammed onto one disc with the compression issues on most releases that do this type of thing.

Released in the U.K. on VHS as 'Top Squad'. Rothrock's as skilled as ever in this film but I thought there was too much grating 'comedy' on display.😞

I am waiting for the Vinegar Syndrome release as its on 2 x 4k disc and 2 x blurays and has a few different extras, also both films are exclusively restored and graded by VS for our edition guaranteeing you the best picture quality possible for this duo of American-Hong Kong action stunners but some of the extras on the UK version are not on the US version

I couldn't agree more. Two abysmal offerings and Rothrock was always superior in her H.K. cinema outings. Most of those American DTV martial arts efforts from the late '80s and early '90s were awful.😬👎

I ordered mine direct from the Eureka site Steffan 👍👍 came just after release with no issues mate 😁 that's why I personally don't use Zavvi as I find them to be the worst out of all the retailers personally Steffan 😵‍💫 maybe in the future I would recommend buying the Eureka releases direct from them as it might help you to not be in this limbo you are in mate 🤔😊😊 hope it turns up and let me know Steffan 🤩🤩👍👍
