For the money it’s pretty good. It’s no speed machine, but we’ll balanced and decent suspension. My other one has survived a Brushless conversion, so drivetrain seems solid

Good review . I just ordered one the other day , They're still around the same price. They sell a brushless version too, but i opted for the brushed so I can upgrade it myself . I like the styling and light package they've done on this one .

In my opinion,a HSP Wolverine is similar price is a real 1/10 scale and on Brushed can handle up to 3S before upgrading. So perfect for kids to start and grow with it until go for a Brushless. So personally I like the 12402A I think is a great car.

I have seen other people bash the life out of it and it endured without breaking. You can get close to the speed on the box but you need to use a different battery type. I got one of these and very happy with it considering its less than £100 I think its good value for money. The lights are suprisingly strong not that I would drive it at night but its a nice visul touch for the vehice.

The truck seems like it jumps really nice real smooth landings. It seems like it would handle a nice big motor and ESC I think it would handle it pretty good. Judging by this video seems like a nice sturdy truck. Go figure it's slow or these would probably be flying off the shelves. If I was looking for a truck and I saw how fast this thing went I just passed it up. Now if I wanted to build a truck up to be faster this would be the one I pick. Awesome videos keep it up I'll keep watching.😊

It does the job they always say it’s faster on the box but I like it aswell. A little brushless motor n esc combo 4 $30-40 and a few adjustments and you’ve a good little basher for not a lot of money. I was on the fence but may try one now? Good vid 👍

You really don't want to use droop screws to set ride height. This basically eliminates down travel in the suspension and will lead to poor handling off-road. Those springs are already too long / stiff.

With 2s LiPo (2200mah that come with 144001) instead of the stock battery ppl got 42kph which is really close to what they claim. Stock battery does not cut it and you should try 2s LiPo battery. All that said great video, I love the skate parks you take to. wish you could do it with the LiPo for full potential, higher jumps and speed.

Its a nice looking truck, very colourful abit more effort from wltoys, i wouldnt be keen on the metal arms for bashing but i suppose they get rid of some of the flex stiffen it up abit. Worth the money though n i should imagine a decent brushless motor n the right gearing it will be rapid.

Would love to see a battle of the desert buggies. I'm torn between the ZD Racing DBX10 and now the FS Racing 53910. Both great prices. Late to the party on the FS Racing, reviews are from 3 or 4 years ago but it still looks very very good for the money! Very well spec'd brushed electrics and radio gear 👍

@@TomleyRC really liking the FS Racing 53910 as a good 1/10th desert buggy that seems pretty well spec'd and tough. FS Racing obviously make the FTX DR8 so definitely have some pedigree! Really cheap too. Mind brushless conversion and it could be a winner 🏆

@@charlesreynolds7407 hi there! The 12423 is quite fun and it is basically the same build like the 12428. If you prefer the short course buggy style than the 12423 is the one for you. The brushed version is a lot of fun already and if you need more speed then go for brushless and I also recommend oil shocks. There is also a similar truck called absima fighter pro which already has all upgrades. Cheers.

Where did you see 20-30kph Phil? I got very close to the 45kph on a 2S lipo and just under 60kph on a 3s in my video. Overall not a bad little truck. Converted mine to brushless

Taking anything to a concrete skate park is pushing it 😅. I push my stuff just a little past what I would say the average person would do. It’s easy to watch channels that jump things 40ft in the air and see that as the norm, but in reality it’s not. I’ve broken many cars at this skate park 😅
