Also, your citizens can come to Japan without visas now.🥵 Australia: Please buy my wine, meat and lobster.🥵 Germany: we're closing German factories, can we move them here to China? Please ignore what our government said.🥵 UK: Let's have a date in January, I miss our old relationship.🥵 CHINA: whoa whoa ladies, lots of Chinese to go around. Come on in.😏

China's total export is only 20% of which, 16% is USA. With increasing tariffs logged against China, she could somehow engineer price increases thereby heightening the wages benefitting Chinese workers instead of subsidizing the foreigners to effect domestic consumption. China's debt is mostly domestic and states owed. RMB not freely floated. The CCP could print money much like Japan and the US, to stimulate her economy. China is a socialist country. Don't use the capitalist model to speculate what China could or could not do. For istance, China could easily wipe out the housing excesses in tier one cities by buying them off and "give" them away to migrant workers thereby quickening the inevitable urbanization process. China has several advantages on her side: 1. 2nd largest population for internal domestic consumption, 2. Excellent infrastructure, 3. Modestly high GDP growth of at least 4%, 4. Many world leading technologies, 5. Centrally plaaned economy, 6. A traditional culture of hard work, education and savings. The latter needs to be liberated through creative investment opportunities for the commoners .... and most of all, being a communist country with government officials increasingly ridded off corruption, merit promoted through years of experiences of social governance. It all boils down to how you would balance Western Democracies against Socialism with restrained individual "freedom" for the common good. With the "righteous" leaders, all systems have their relative merits. Unfortunately, with bad and uninformed leaders, seemingly sound policies could be manipulated to the extremes and advantage the few previleges. Do yourself a favour and visit China for a real life experience. You won't see bunch of people living on the streets, locked up in prisons, and many go hungry resorted to illicit drugs to realized the "American" dreams while their elites fund, accuse, prosecute and punish others of being undemocratic to divert away their very own domestic problems. How could the legislative members of any country politicalizing another country's internal problems and being blind of their own messes. And yet, these politicians are rewarded for being the critics of other countries instead of improving the life of their own voters and their very own seniors, youngsters and unfortunate fallen on hard times!

Wrong… China deflated their real estate in purpose because they still have up to 300 million rural migrants they expect to move to their cities In China in 2008 around 70% of the people in their real estate markets were buying their 1st homes in their cities By 2018 around 70% of the people in their real estate markets were buying their 2nd and 3rd homes in their cities That’s why you are hearing about problems with their property developers these days. Because back in 2010? Their Central Government started cutting of money flow to these developers. Thus why you heard about Shadow Banks and Underground Economy back then, that their Government had to come into to shutdown or regulate. Even then, It took them almost 14 years to get their overheated real estate under control Heck they were about to introduce a nation wide property tax, but then trump started the trade war in 2018 Why is their Central Government doing this? Because there are still a few hundred million poorer rural folk they still expect to move to the cities to join their more well off urban city folk countrymen. Problem is these property developers were building higher end homes, and not building the affordable homes these rural migrants will need In China Owning a home in the city you migrate to? Affects your employment, health, education and even marriage prospects don’t have a house you don’t get married Thus the common prosperity push and the crackdown on the overt displays of wealth in China Their Government probably figured out you disenfranchise the people at the bottom of your society they are the ones most likely to act out in protest 👇 Roughly 40% of the 300 million Chinese expected to move into a city by 2030 will mostly be moving to smaller cities in the “chengzhenhua” system. Rather than migrating to cities, the cities will be built around them instead. Forbes

However the way it was done was too sudden. 30 trillion USD has been wiped out of the economy according to the FT. All Chinese think about now is how to get their money overseas as no investment opportunities. It is investment hell accordingly to my Chinese friends. Huge unemployment, massive outlow of foreign investment, deflation, commercial property in free fall. No this will take a long time according to the Chinese government.
