From what I can gather, unless you're Han Chinese, you are automatically treated as second-class. Additionally, there's great resentment towards the special treatment that African nations are receiving, in the way of medical ships, massive BRI projects and especially how African students are granted privileges beyond those of local students. As far as boosting the local economy, the situation sounds a lot like here in Cincinnati, where the Nigerian vendors sell mainly incense, oils, wallets and trinkets. Nothing of significant value. Their restaurants cater to their own kind. As rice is the major ingredient in most African diets, it's also going to put them in direct competition with the locals for survival, when food shortages become more widespread. Lastly, around the globe, people from Ghana and Nigeria are notorious for their scams and illegal practices. Maybe they can teach the Chinese a thing or two! 😂

Chinese , like them or not are involved in international infrastructure and manufacturing and they modernize and improve the countries they work in. Africans immigrants have not had a positive effect on Italy or many of the European countries they illegally immigrate to. The reason Africa is in the Stone Age is not because of others, it’s because they have Stone Age beliefs, sub Saharan Africa is in the dark ages. The only advanced parts of Africa to modern world standards are Northern Africa like Morocco and South Africa. @@Koala-jj7go Guangzhou is relatively warmer than other parts of china. Guangzhou has good tcm hospitals. If you like rivers, Guangzhou has plenty of them. The subway stations are relatively closer compared to cities like shanghai, this means that it is easier to get to various locations in GZ by subway. The roads and highways are terrible though and actually made worse by the presence of so many rivers and limited crossings as it creates chokepoints

They are not seen as Chinese. Neither will the mixed kids. They will not been seen as ethnically Chinese. Eventually, there will a pushback, and things blamed on Africans. Then there will be racist attacks, and calls for Africans to go home. African wives of Chinese men will get backlash as well.

I have been watching for several months and my conclusion is this is a global economic downturn and unfortunately we have to get through it individually. I have seen complaining from 61 year old American men doing gig work, young Asian girl in the UK wanting her first job. VW closing three factories in Germany. No jobs in India but hundreds turning up for government jobs. Yeah it is a mess for us all.

The US owes China who is supposed to be a developing nation. 8- Supercomputer Chip technology. 9- China produces more engineers and more patents per year than the US 10- China has strategic minerals that the collective West doesn't have. 11- China is first in production of EV batteries. 12- China exports more goods to the world than the US. 13- Healthcare, transportation and housing is more affordable in China. The US still doesn't have high speed trains. 😅

There is a side to this that the blogger mentioned, the Chinese are not making enough children, and so there is a lack of young people. Never underestimate Africans ability to work. Africa has had little beneficial foreign investment, and centuries of exploitation, given opportunities they work hard. China will seek to get more Africans for low wages.
