One thing that this podcast team lack is someone who can spew out things to keep the conversation going. There were some silent moments in the video where everybody seemed to try to find the next things to say. Compare that to Timcast IRL, where Tim Pool can jump here and there on the topic and if he somehow lost in mind, the other crews (Ian, Hannah, Phil) started saying random stuffs to keep the conversation going even if it could go to weird direction (especially Ian).

I would like to draw attention to the fact that gutter oil is still very common in my area, I live in 山海关, where the Great Wall begins. Every day, there are 3 guys who recycle it in the alley down the street from where I live. I can see them using a large oil bin to collect oil from the gutter. Because there are 5 anchor restaurants in the area facing the street, so they come here to get gutter oil for a reason. I don't know how many small restaurants or street food vendors use purified gutter oil to cook food for people to consume, but at least I can see people collecting it professionally daily.

gutter oil can also be recycled for bio diesel or chemical resources. You jump into conclusion too fast.

Is the desertification still ongoing in China? I watched a recent video where they are growing 4k acres of potatoes in the desert despite the fact that potatoes take a lot of water in comparison to other crops. 5yrs ago there were reports of sand storms in Beijing.
