I went on the Shanghai metro in 2018, and I was astounded. The network was so vast and deep down, you could take journeys of escalators going down or up, especially in an interchange station. Thousands would be on their phones because wifi was already widespread underground. Everything was so seemless and in order, and was very cheap. I’ve travelled on the Shanghai maglev and China’s high speed rail system. It is world class! It’s great to see your authentic shots of China Subway VS America Subway in your videos.I am so impressed by this. I only wish we have such modern and convenience transport system in the US. It is so dirty and dated in the US. China is allot more modern and developed than I expected! Our media in the West always tells us China is collapsing.

The US 🇺🇸 rather spend the money 💵 on weapons, defense spending, aiding wars in another country than it's own citizen's welfare like health care, homelessness issues, improving infrastructures and so on.
It's because average to below income people don't matter to them. Just so long that the top 1% stay on top and continue to get richer, that's all that really matters to them. Also, in a capitalist society, there can be no rich without the working poor. It's just how things work with that kind of system unfortunately.

The US Metros and trains may be ageing but is there any excuse for not keeping it all clean and spotless? Do elderly people stop taking baths and deodorants simply because they are getting old? One should stop making excuses for bad social behavior and bad attitudes towards one's own public property and have some pride enough to maintain them instead of having graffiti and foul language defaced across public walls and trains with slashed seats and smashed windows. These have nothing to do with whether something is new or old.

The United States should shift its war investment to the construction and maintenance of infrastructure, so that it will get a more beautiful subway than China.

I used to live and commute in Paris. My nose got used to the smell. Whenever I revisit Paris, oh boy, the bad smell of the old world, raw sewage, and other smells cause nausea. But after a few days, the body adapts and everything is fine. The scenes from NY subways are terrible! The Chinese subways look good and worthy of the investment. Chinese new airports are also world-class level. When it comes to cleaners, Singapore is still probably #1.
California and texas are building high speed train too

Some of the Asian countries have the best infrastructure. Our Governments are by the people & for the people, stay within our means, and not for policing the whole world in the name of self declared international law, that got no mandate from any authority.

As per China's national poverty line, 8.5 percent of people were in poverty in 2013, which decreased to 1.7 percent in 2018. On 6 March 2020, Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, announced that by 2020, China will achieve all poverty alleviation in rural areas.

Correction: Americans are not "jealous" of any subway system. Americans drive cars. No subway can come anywhere close to what a car can do.
