Build Back Better, a mirage that appeared on the political agenda a few years ago and is still a mirage. Why am I not convinced that something might come out of this one as well?

@@chinaglobalsouth This project is an updated version of the colonial era MO - building a rail line to haul out resources to ports and load them on ships bound to the West, primarily the US which is pushing the agenda. Colonial era railways run from mines to ports. There was no thought about the people, and if there was any, it was an afterthought. Why is this different? They are not processing the products there. Only extracting materials and shipping them out.

Africa is the turf where Usury struggles to defend itself. Like the Crusades, the battle between the Rothchilds fortunes and the Moslem prohibition of Usury, the idea of Capital as a definition of Value, seems to be challenged? Russia seems to be inserting a large influence from Sudan, to Mauritania. The Sahel seems to be wealthy with resources that France and the Brits used to exploit. The G-7 nations who created their lifestyles with Colonial Exploitation, seem to see challenge everywhere?

I think the main point is China build airports and infrastructure, hospitals and schools, modern apartments. Africans live more and more the same standards as Europeans. China just announced 52 billion dollars investment in Africa. What are we offering to Africans? I think what Africans are interested is manufacturing no longer to sell their resources cheap. We have to be able to compete with China with something concrete. No longer interfering on internal affairs and demanding Africans to accept our own cultural shift. China just offered tax free African products in China. We have to be sincere and offer African to produce and manufacture that can bring employment.

A couple of things: 1) The U.S. provides more than $8 billion worth of health and humanitarian aid to Africa every year, orders of magnitude more than what China does with similar assistance. PEPFAR alone has saved the lives of tens of millions of African people from dying from AIDS and continues to save millions of lives each year. 2) The $52 billion number you cited is not “investment.” The vast majority of the money is in the form of export credits for CHINESE companies. China has actually invested relatively little in Africa compared to other major powers. The billions of dollars of Chinese finance that gets all of the headlines is loans that are paid back with interest. 3) The tax free reference you made is actually not as significant as you think. Most African countries have had tariff free or near tariff access to the Chinese market for years but yet their export levels remain shockingly low. There is more to accessing the Chinese market than merely tariffs. China, like Japan, the US, and the EU, has very strict sanitary requirements for agricultural products which are very expensive for exporters to achieve. China’s non-tariff barriers to entry are the key problem for African products, not tariffs. - Eric

@@chinaglobalsouth The US Currency that now is facing the effects that competing with the BRICKS Group has created since 2014, when they introduced their new loan program, ahs disabled the US system of exploitation that the IMF has been able to create and enforce. The US Currency has lost value as Trade among the Southern Hemisphere may appear to offer fewer profits, it seems to develop more trade that provides advantages to Nations of the Global South. Even Australia is exploited by Mining Interests from the G-7 Nations. I have noticed several areas where the US was outbid by China. Your insinuation that superficial tarries and the continued employment of extortion by the USA to support the use of the Fiat Currency that G-7 Nations all employ, has provided the support they need , seems to be a factor that most Capitalists appear to avoid discussing? The G-7 Nations Currency is in danger of collapse. Just as 2008 showed Bernanke and Paulson attempts to grow the Debt, the fragility of the Currency employed since the last desperate attempts by the USA to maintain some form of Colonial Empire, now faces the threat of being consumed by their Debts. Comparing Currencies in a world that now seems to be developing a Trade Valuation based on Physical Currency, appears to be indicating the G-7 are not winning an Economic War? Your form of measure appears to face a significant threat to it's existence? If the Fiat Currency is not demonstrating support from Treasury, what Value does it display? The Military Threat appears to be hinged to the value of the currency, as it too faces significant challenge, and that appears to be all that remains to back up the US Dollar?

@@chinaglobalsouth It seems people in the West just don't get it. Health and humanitarian aid are great, but people don't get any hope to grow with these forms of "help." You need to help them build their infrastructure, and industry, train the workers, so their economy can actually grow. And guess what, when their economic status gets better, their health gets better automatically. Or, maybe people in the West do know this, but simply don't want them to grow to begin with.

What if AFRICA HAD a better ISRAELI BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM. So simple here it is... "18 yrs old Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (1) have at least one Jewish birth parent, or (2) have converted to Judaism. That's it! You don't need to be religious to qualify or to 'fit in' on our trips. In fact, many of our participants have more of a cultural connection to Judaism than a traditional one". Now why AFRICA hasn't DONE THIS IS BEYOND ME! If China got African Countries to give citizenship to its DIASPORA the GLOBAL SOUTH will create the GREATEST FASTEST BRAIN DRAIN IN WORLD HISTORY.

Wait? You think we are not neutral because we talk about the well documented phenomenon of Chinese illegal fishing off the coast of Guinea? That’s a first because the issue of Chinese unregulated fishing is a well established fact off the coasts of Ghana and Nigeria, not something that’s actually for debate. We strongly encourage you to do even a bit of research on these things before commenting. Really. It’s not that hard. - Eric
