Even so, how can you say that the senator is manipulating and fear-mongering the Filipino people when in reality, her claim can spark the government to invest more in military projects as we are after all, truly inferior in military capabilities? Of course, the senator's comments will spark negative feelings. We are far from prepared. It is through warnings and hypothetical ideas that we are able to prepare, be cautious, and utilise the time we may have left in case such a scenario would occur.
