There is very hard to drive, therefore the railway improved the transportation dramatically and helped the development of Tibet a lot. No one there think they are not Chinese.

In the opinion of Beijing, anyway. You might get a different view from Tibetans being colonized by ethnic Han (Chinese). Beijing can be a "little" heavy-handed.
@marcolfo1007 жыл бұрын
Tibetans lived in a medioeval country,submitted to fanatic monks;the Chinese have introduced roads,railways,electric light,industries,and obliged monks to work
@jacquesblaque77287 жыл бұрын
Marco Azzerlini- The Han are God's gift to the poor, benighted heathens of Tibet? Of course, their motivations are purely altruistic, with no dimension of "manifest destiny". Could it be that roads & rails make for their typically heavy-handed army moves? Mere mention of Dalai Lama strictly forbidden.
@jacquesblaque77286 жыл бұрын
Absolute rubbish, and a total smoke-screen, covering for the kind, neighborly "beneficence" of Beijing. Just like they foist on Xinjiang, in thuggish grabs at hegemony and raw materials. China's efforts at boosting military mobility are transparently obvious, oppressing and colonizing the Tibetans. Well-known fact. Be honest.
@keyboarddancers77516 жыл бұрын
Han is an unstoppable sociological juggernaut (and I don't just mean its impact on Tibet alone). Each of the six or seven special economic zones setup by china in Africa as of 2011 address strategically more or less specific areas of economic and industrial need. china's university student population in Europe and america is growing rapidly and china is an ecological and environmental blight. Tibet may be an "autonomous region" but that autonomy is extremely limited. Check out the film 'Cry Of The Snow Lion'.
@liguobu2296 жыл бұрын
Now let the Chinese develop Tibet and improve the lot of Tibetans as they do in China proper. Instead of forcing them to spend huge amounts of money for defense and security in Tibet and elsewhere. Dalaï-lama, Soros, NED, CIA, subversive ONGs, etc. heed this plea.
