Now you've done it Doc! I was listening to this talk while feeding my hamsters. They became extremely distraught. While cleaning their cages, the next thing I know they took my wallet and car keys! I've tracked them down at the pub. By the time I found them they were intoxicated and eating chips. They convinced me that I may as well stay and have a few pints. They've run up quite a tab and we're all passed out in the car since none of us are fit to drive. Crikey, now they're quite a raucous crowd. 😉 Thanks for your wit.

He is also just regurgitating numbers and stats from around the world to talk to a specific narrative. However, this in itself can be quite dangerous as there are a lot of people out there with complex health needs and they really need to be talking to their GP and specialist about what is best for them.

I almost got Covid teaching my hamster to swim. He went in the deep end without his swimmies and I had to give Him mouth to mouth. He's fine now and he got the hang of the back stroke. Not to mention the fact that the only peer reviewed article I kind find on him is a set of notes on physiology for nurses. It’s so dangerous when people start to step outside the areas of practice. As a professional, we make a commitment not to provide advice outside of our area of expertise. I am a nurse practitioner in Kentucky and I have a patient that works in a Vet's office. I asked her if they are seeing it there. She stated they have had multiple animals (cats, dogs and pet birds) that have had symptoms after their owners were positive. One dog died from a respiratory infection after exposure. It's sad.

Communist's and socialist's aren't smart people, history has proven this and made it fairly obvious.. Thank you John for your most excellent every day up-dates. Just wanted to tell you of my experience when I asked for the vaccinator to aspirate the needle when I went for my booster. The vaccinator had no idea what I was talking about so the chief nurse was sent for. She asked what was my query, so again I asked if she would please aspirate the needle for me. She drew herself up to her full height as she said “I have been a nurse for over 20 years and yes we did aspirate years ago but not now” and with that she turned on her heel and stomped off!! My daughter-in -law has been a nurse fir 25 years, and when I told her of my experience, she just said one word “Unbelievable”. With all of the available data that had demonstrated Vitamin D’s significant effect on preventing hospitalization, it would be very interesting to see what the blood levels were of those who’ve been admitted during this Omicron wave; especially the unvaccinated. As you’ve pointed out, Vaccines are effective in decreasing admissions but it would be interesting to know if appropriate vitamin D supplementation could afford the same benefit.

There was a Heidelberg Univ. (Germany) study from oct.2020 shown on this channel early last year -- short summary: Blood levels of vitaminD 50 ngr/ml and above (125 nmol/l or above) give 93,5% protection from covid deaths. Study was small (ca.190 hospitalized people) because there was low number of hospitalised patients with known previous vitD levels. Difference between the known "general population" D-levels (people whose vitD levels were checked multiple times previously before covid,and in this same hospital-local patients) and number of them hospitalized was the method used ("observational study"). Average age was (I believe) 75 and only one person with highD (>50)died. The relationship between D and clinical status was 100% proportional : higherD-less symptoms and lower mortality. It takes advanced levels of calousness and Pfizer money to ignore such findings.Those cheap,fast,sometimes eye-opening and suggestive studies are generaly dismissed by contemporary "artist" called "public scientific advisors". Apparently,"Origin of species" by Darwin, "Brief history of time" by Hawkings and "The invisible hand" by Smith are to be ignored as incoherent rumblings of simpletons due to their lack of doubble-blind,placebo controled methodology,the only way "real knowledge" is achieved by giants of supreme wisdom like Fauci today. You can't question him,HE IS Science. P.S. there were multiple other bigger studies revealed on this channel, all showing huge efficacy of vitD on hospitalisations and deaths,with varying degree,between 50-93%. Hardly worth any attention. Anything below 99,9% efficacy is not worth a huge risc of developing hypercalcemia when taken 1,000 times daily dose for months and without the neccessary vit.K2. As a Chinese person living in the West, I have grown increasingly frustrated with the way things are back home. My flight was yet again canceled and there is no hope of seeing my family in China for the foreseeable future. But I do want to chime in on why they've insisted on the 0 COVID policy even though it likely won't work in the end. 1) China doesn't have nearly the adequate ICU capacity to handle severe outbreaks. I read somewhere that the ICU capacity is less than 1/10 of what the US has per capita. In case of severe national outbreak, the rapidly aging population there will likely suffer tremendous losses. 2) China has not yet approved a foreign vaccine. Its own vaccines were developed with inactivated vaccine technology, which is less effective but less likely to cause adverse reactions (neither of my parents felt anything after 3 doses). The vast majority of the population has had 0 exposure, i.e. 0 natural immunity to the virus, which means in case of a severe outbreak, they will be more likely to develop severe illness, not to mention that the amount of population in China with comorbidities is high. 3) The average Chinese person with no overseas ties (which is the majority) would rather things stay the way they are (i.e. very low cases) and go about their daily lives than worry about influx of cases, which is another reason why they are extremely afraid of foreign imported cases. Personally, I don't think it can last forever, but based on my knowledge of my own country (and how the government is), they are going to stick it out for as long as they can.

By satistics, the Chinese goverments action is correct, mainly due to the capasity of meidical facility to population ratio. By numbers they are not wrong, as they are not even on the chart and number of infection are on double digits. Could they survive with out travel? they have done that for the past 2 years, so by historic data yes they could do this indefinitly. They don't need the west to survive, that much is proven. So for humanity reason I would stand with China on this topic, i would rather see them self as hermit then have deaths that could avoided.

What is relevant is how the world in general, and your government and society in particular, responded. The UK and the US proved that pandemic management by denial, wishful thinking, politicking, blame gaming, etc. is not the way to go. In contrast, countries such as China (yes China) and New Zealand, despite the vast differences in their respective political systems and cultures demonstrated that there is a better way. For example, while Donald and Boris were, based on political calculations (which turned out to be wrong), setting policy that led to the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of their citizens, New Zealand implemented a stringent and effective 6-week lock down in March 2020. The result that was complete elimination of the virus and a country that subsequently has, until recently, been largely covid free. New Zealanders could lead life essentially free as normal with minimal restrictions and an economy (except for international tourism) that has been humming along quite nicely while watching the the tragedies and insanity unfolding in most of the rest of the world with horror and disbelief. In fact NZ unemployment is at 4%. And the total covid NZ death toll is 50. If it was following the US model, it would be 13,300 or 266 times higher. And, the NZ Labour government got returned in a landslide in the November 2020 elections. And, by holding off as long as possible NZ had the luxury of waiting for and assessing the safety of vaccines. It can face Omicron with a vaccination rate of 93.7% Pfizer double dosed (for 12+ years), therapeutics, a much less virulent strain, and much better knowledge of how to contain and manage the disease. My husband and I chose not to vaxx and we have just recovered from Delta. I had us on a very strict supplement plan since July 2020 including those to strengthen the lungs. One of the CDC Report papers you showed was for JAN 2021 to DECEMBER 2021 this would be for the mainly Delta phase. So for January 2022 and omincron phase would now be obsolete. One report announced in Australia this week was 2 doses of vaccine offers only 4% protection. While they are promoting booster saying it will offer 64% protection. You cannot trust ANY study the CDC releases. Every singular incrimate of information that has ever come from the CDC has basically indicated that the only way to survive is to be vaxd over and over again and No he is not accurate the vax is NOT just as effective and natural immunity. In fact for the first time In the history of the CDC and COVID they released a new study today I believe that shows natural immunity is superior to vax's in every way. Since wearing a mask I haven't caught any colds for 2 years, or flu, or Covid (not that I'm aware of?). Also anti bacterial hand gel has done wonders I think, as I usually start with colds and flu in my eyes but I've most likely not transferred the virus from my clean-er hands. Dear doctor John, I have been stuck in China since January 2020, discovered your channel through another Brit near the beginning of the pandemic, thank you for everything! Living in China…I might have an idea why they persist…2 big reasons that I see…1 the population density is massive in the cities,,,in my compound 1 square km around 15000 people live in my compound. In my city it’s around 10 million even if 1% got sick enough to go to hospital it would be too much for the hospitals here which struggle to cope without covid. The other thing to consider is loss of face and culture. With the olympics the authorities are tightening up…this happens before any big event in China and things tend to relax a bit after events. Those of us who live here were ok at first we could still travel within China easily…but since the summer with small outbreaks happening we can’t leave our cities especially people working in education and healthcare

So 50%-75% (depending on day) of total COVID patients hospitalized were found to test positive on admission for other reasons.

When the virus was first detected in Wuhan, and everyone was in lockdown, pets were thrown out on the streets as people knew that a few had contracted C. Many pets died terrible deaths. It’s really crazy. Ivm works on sick animals. I recall a story about some apes in a zoo contracting C, and they gave them Ivm, they healed and were fine. I intend to do the same thing if my kitten (or I) gets sick: ivm.
