it also says that if u trust the command you can type ".\fastboot" for the command to work. That happens because the "fastboot" command is not a pre-built command recognised by the PowerShell.

This is one of the best tutorials I came across, but for whatever reason I can't get my device to show up in the power shell command prompt after getting it into fastboot and plugging it in. The computer has no issues detecting it as a proper device and the phone properly changed between media sharing, debugging mode, and the regular charging mode. It just won't detect it in fastboot. Hopefully I figure that one out.
