I have a very interesting question because of my budget I got a JBL 208p portable PA system it has a quarter inch out for Subs I am only using this PA for backing tracks and I'm only singing through the PA so my question is can I use one of these Subs to balance out my sound I talked to somebody at Sweetwater today and they have the Mackie powered 8 inch sub it has the quarter inch input but it's only made for Studio he told me I could use it think it has 200 Watts he also told me I could use the PreSonus which I believe has 200 Watts they both cost $200 can you give me some insight on that please

Is a 10 even a sub? 90db wtffff?!? 116 is reference! I was forced to get rid of my insane subs and a 10 feels like itmust be a toy. Heck, I'd say 4 x 12 is entry level. Smh, im screwed for finding anything practical after coming from 3*18 sealed and 2*18 massive ported boxes before that (with 50lb woofers in each) that were -3 at 15hz and each maximg around 120-122db around 60hz

😂😂Big subwoofer only if you have big space to watch movies or if you like Ghetto music. For the rest of us it is about quality bass, rather than quantity!

@@silkhead44 90 dB is not unreasonable for peaks in music or for home theater. I believe reference level for home theater is 105 dB. I understand that not everyone listens at these levels all the time and I certainly don’t, but I thought the viewer should be made aware of the distortion issues I was having.
