All the toxic air because of Industrialisation of its neighbouring States and stubble burning by farmers in punjab and haryana ends up in the Delhi Ncr region because of wind movement in the month of November and December that's why it's so smokey in Delhi it was very different in 2004 north india region was not that much industrialised many people didn't have any vehicles too now almost everyone has atleast one vehicle in the house
