"The Untamed" is irreplaceable in my heart for a number of reasons. The story is heartbreakingly beautiful. With "The Untamed" i don't just care about Lan Zhan and Wei Ying but all of the characters. All of them are interesting on some level. The character development that Lan Zhan gets is out of this world. His love and loyalty for Wei Ying is the most touching aspect of the drama. Then there's Wei Ying's relationship with his family and friends, beautifully tragic. And then there's the hero himself, Wei Ying! Watching our mischievous ball of sunshine make sacrifices for the people he loves while trying to hold onto his morals and beliefs in a world that has unjustly turned against him is some of the most heartbreaking shit ever. The story, plus wonderful characters, and heavenly music (omg the OST is orgasmic) makes for one helluva enjoyable viewing experience.

We can't deny the fact that *"The Untamed"* had actually hyped up majority of Chinese BL Drama fans (both Chinese and international).. I, myself, got in to bl world right after I watched TU. I even read its novel (all MXTX's novel writings actually: *MDZS, TGCF, & SVSSS*), including their manga, and even the anime version of it. Now, I feel intrigued with this word of honor drama and definitely is planning to watch it too.. ^-^ Looking forward for Heaven Official's Blessing live action soon as well and immortality(2HA) to be released.. It’s wild some people play down the chemistry between Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian from The Untamed because they weren’t ‘openly’ flirting but their chemistry with subtle actions is what makes it so powerful. Even seeing the change in LZ’s behaviour towards WWX over time is beautiful. Lan Zhan originally being strict rule follower, to then bringing alcohol for WWX even tho it wasn’t allowed and then to disobeying everyone to stand by WWX. That’s more powerful then any flirting.

The untamed will be my all time favorite. It is truly a masterpiece. The chemistry between WY and XZ is undeniable. It shows not only the love between the main leads, but also a rollercoaster of emotions. We feel different emotions while watching the untamed. The Story portraits love, friendship, brotherhood everything in a beautiful manner. The casting in the drama was perfect. I even remember the name of the character even with a tiny role. That's the impact of the untamed. It tells us A Story about all the character in it. All the characters are therefore special. Not comparing, I'm now currently watching the word of honor. The chemistry between wen ke shing and a xu is excellent. But for me only the lead characters are interesting in the drama. And I think we feel that they have more chemistry just because they portrait Open romance. But that was not the case during the untamed. Even though during strict restrictions, the untamed clearly showed the love between. Actually they didn't show us, we just felt their love.... This is why the untamed is sooo special for me💓💓💓

Maybe because The Untamed was my first bl/bromance drama,it has a special place in my heart. I've gone thru all the trials and tribulations with the characters of Untamed,the actors made this happen. The music the place the clothes the dialogues,everything I felt it. As if I was there witnessing YiZhan's journey together with them. Even without words the leads were able to pull off such a complex chemistry between them. And yes no one is born evil. All the characters in this drama had gone thru so much that they HAD to choose a wrong way for their own. Guardian was the first Chinese BL that really gripped me, even though I saw The Untamed first (I only appreciated it after reading the novel and watching Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan interact offscreen actually). Word of Honor is right up there with Guardian for me, also. I get withdrawal symptoms while waiting for new episodes. Need to watch Advance Bravely.

I watched The Untamed first. Fell madly in love as you can guess from my profile pic. Then Guardian, but God that ending. 💔 I watched S.C.I, found the suspense and action good but wanted more. Felt it needed more tender moments. Now I need to start on Advance Bravely....then Word of Honor. 😀

I agree with each and every point of yours...but it's not only for the main leads live it is best ....I like the way Wei Ying's sister loved him... She never blamed him even when she lost her husband... Nobody knows the fact by Jiang Chen lost his Golden core in order to protect Wei Ying... As Wei ying went out to buy medicines and food for his sister and the Wen Cho's guards were about to get hold of Wei Ying, Jiang Chen saw it and to distract the guards he made noise and got caught and lost his golden core... Everyone remembers the sacrifice of Wei Ying but no one remembers that Jaing Chen also did sacrifice for him but never revealed

The Untamed no.1 as it should. Everything is perfect for me, from the cast's outsanding acting, everyone shines even the villains, i literally remember all the cast, visuals is a plus they are so handsome. The leads chemistry is so insane, i'm already squealing even tho they were just staring at each other, no skinship, no explicit scenes but still I can feel their great love for each other. One more thing that i like the most is the story, the story is a masterpiece itself, it's so great and well writtin, everything is connected, you'll totally get drown to the story and the casts did so well portraying their roles. I feel empty after i watched it, i wish it has more episodes, after that the syndrome comes in where you watch or read everything related to the series coz you can't get enough.

"The Untamed" will always be my number one. This drama gave me a big time mixed emotions, that until now I can't move on. I always remember the scene where everyone turned their back to Wei Wuxian but Lan Wangji didn't leave him. It's like confessing his love for Wei Wuxian in a secret manner. ❤️ I also like, "Word of Honor," I enjoyed how Wen Ke Xing flirts to Zhou Zi Shu, it is indeed confessing his feeling in a open manner. But what I like most is that Zhou Zi Shu still accepted Wen Ke Xing despite knowing that he is the Chief of the Ghost Valley. They went through thick and thin.💓 PS: It is really amazing to know that someone is willing to die for you or to die together with you.❤️🤗
