The cost of vertical farming is still high compared to traditional farming because of the cost of electricity needed to power the LED lighting. Why don't they combine natural lighting during the day and use LED during the night. The building could be glass all round to allow natural light to shine through. Should also use solar energy to power the LEDs to lower the cost of lighting.

解決：無線輸電：(無線充電)，就可以在太空建設超大型太陽能電池板，把太空太陽能電傳回地球就可以非常非常便宜，太空沒有白天黑夜，一直都有太陽光，非常適合在太空搞太陽能。就差無線傳電技術了。有了這些廉價太空電就可以室內種植糧食了。

I have had very high degree of Agriculture biotechnology in both China and US. I know what the what the difference of basic science foundation is in Western countries and China. Believe me, the things in China are show only. They never think about the cost and any potential problem. In ten years, you will see those stuff will disappear.

The problem in the West is they only think about cost, short term Return on Investment. When there are problems, instead of finding solution, they just want to find excuses and someone else to blame.
