@@tigeryu3846 are you talking about the hainan island crash between the J8II and the EP3E surveillance plane? The US shouldn’t have to apologize, Wang Wei, the pilot of the Chinese jet, was reckless and flew too close and crashed into the US plane. He died and the US plane was forced to emergency land in Hainan. If anything, China should apologize. Not to mention that this took place over international airspace, the US plane only entered Chinese airspace because it needed to land.

I'm Chinese and I believe in some points of facts, I do get affect by the public of the Chinese communist government. But what I think is not appreciated is the United States government's Honours the pilot on the Ep-3E surveillance plane. In fact, Whitehouse just responded to a Su-27 crashed down an MQ-9 down in the Black sea, and Russia honours the pilot of the Su-27 as the hero of the country. John Kirby says "He is an idiot." Instead, they manufacture stuff, that's cheaply designed by american 'engineers', at cut-rate costs and sell them to those Americans who live in near poverty, because America deems it to be more lucrative to invest in war than in its people. What provocation US is talking about? what business does US have to put a drone outside their national airspace?
@Albisriede8 жыл бұрын
Anything 'American' is called 'routine', even if it's thousands of miles from its own shores, nosing around other countries boundaries. When others respond to such nosing it's called provocative or 'endangering their crews'. The Chinese fighter may have shown its weapons load, but the also mentioned Russian plane was unarmed, as other reports point out. What is not mentioned in this report, is that the Russian plane was able to completely disarm the american Warship's electronic gadgetry, forcing it to abandon its mission, just like you turn off the TV with a remote. All this could be prevented, if we kept our noses out of other countries' affairs and instead made some improvements here at home.
@jdarksword8 жыл бұрын
Flying over international waters is allowed, China is manufacturing land in order to push its borders farther out so obviously we will take interest. China is acting like they own these international waters by sending interceptors up to turn us away from territory that is imminent owned by all. This is going to end with a shoot down of a P-8 over international waters causing China to get a hellstorm of backlash.
@jdarksword8 жыл бұрын
Also where did you get that info about the Russian jet disabling the sensors on the P-8? I'll tell you right now that it's bullshit.
@Albisriede8 жыл бұрын
+135th Darksword ~ Don't tell ME, I don't need to know, tell those who came up with that. Just search the internet. And as to 'backlash', America will certainly get hers. More than at any time before, America is perceived with disdain, seen like the big bully kid on the block, pushing everybody else around. Why else would we have some sort of military presence in at least 130 countries around the world? Because we feel so secure? Or is it because we provide lifestyles for >70% of our planet's lawyers, and that while only amounting to 5% of its population? Or could it be because we provide the world's largest marketplace, which explains that we use 25% of the world's energy resources? At least we're down from 40% as other countries are surpassing us in education and lifestyle quality. America, America, your Zionist owners will throw you on the trash heap, once their agenda has been fulfilled.

+SubtleKnowledge The US government does exactly what the American Military Industrial Complex wants, because the US Government is in the pay of the gun-makers etc. And The American Military Industrial Complex wants to continue expanding. At any cost! So if you live in USA you are living in a country that is constantly looking for reasons to attack other countries.
@Albisriede8 жыл бұрын
+John Benton Indeed, I do live in this country and what you've stated is absolutely correct: While others (above) accuse China of "manufacturing land" we continue manufacturing wars. So, because we're also the greediest country on the planet, who complains when others engage in expansionist agendas "just like us". This could make sense, if China - whose population is 4x that of the U.S. - was also 4x greater in land mass. But it's not. With the U.S.'s size being 3.8 million square miles and China only 3.7 mio. sq. mi. the pressure is on in China, regardless of legality.

How would the US react if Russia or China flew within 130 miles of their coast? Yeah, I thought so.
@Hrotto28 жыл бұрын
+IrishLincoln We already saw how US deals with international provocation. November 1st, 2012 Iran scrambles a jet to intercept and destroy a drone that was detected over international waters in the Persian Gulf. The Iranian jet is about 40 miles out when he looks out over one of his wings to see and F-22 that had been shadowing him, casually inspecting the weapons load of the F-4. When the F-4 pilot spotted the American pilot, the American switched over to the Iranian frequency to relay the following "You really ought to go home". I'll bet that the ground crew of that F-4 searched in vain for the missing seat cushion that the pilot was using during that time. You wanna know how the US really deals with aggression without firing shots, thats how. If an F-22 can show up like that out of nowhere, I'm willing to bet that its happened a couple times with the Russians and the Chinese.

They aren't aggressors, they are enforcing freedom of travel and international law. The Chinese have no right to offer a challenge to anyone operating legally within the scope of international law. Also the P8 is an anti submarine and recon aircraft, its entire purpose is to track enemy ship and submarine movements. An activity best conducted close to ports. The Russians have long challenged NATO and the US and the US and NATO have done the same back. This is not unusual or aggressive behavior for any military superpower.
@Prometheus2037 жыл бұрын
James Wang You and the Russians already do test our defenses on a regular basis and on many different fronts... Honestly though the construction of these military bases on man made islands is not a peaceful act, your country is establishing an extended air defense perimeter within an area established as international waters with obvious and specific intentions. I fear that long term continued escalation down the current path can only inevitably lead to a war which I believe neither side wants.. However the general public on both sides is so uninformed that they are not aware of the growing tensions and the poor decision making taking place within the leadership of both nations. We have a great opportunity for us both to strengthen our relationship and build a better future together, the petty decisions of select individuals with their self centered motivations should not wager the survival of a great majority of the human species.
@Prometheus2037 жыл бұрын
You are correct the United States should be more forceful with allied nations and their actions which also contribute to the unnecessary escalation of tensions in the region. Those nations however continue to have justification for an increased military stance based on the ever growing state of Chinese imperialism and the continued aggressive threats posed by the PRNK.

People in the comments are so ill-informed. This is not "Chinese airspace" whatever the fuck that means. It's international waters and the country closest to claiming them according to SEZ statues is Philippines, not China. China is engaged in illegal militarization and island-building of international waters in the South China Sea because these straits are VALUABLE. They experience 25% of global trade and have approx 7 billion barrels of underwater oil reserves. If China is allowed to continue they could utilize these straits to wage economic warfare as they did as recently in 2010 when they blockaded by sea Japan's imports of rare earth metals (necessary for their tech manufacturing industry).
