Chinese First time try Indonesian foods

Today, Rudy chen, a Chinese from Indonesia, invited Viona and me to try an Indonesian restaurant in China~
we tried Jahe Madu，Ayam Geprek Porsi，Kankong porsi，Sate Ayam，Nasi Uduk，Rendang Portion，Ayam Kremes Porsi，Soto Ayam Porsi.
I wrote down their prices and ratings.

Bismillah alhamdulillah, im glad you are enjoying your food. Im a Malaysian and this is how we Malays eat our food by using our right hand. The same goes to the Indians too. The food will taste much better when you eat it using your hand. There are many more different other dishes the South East Asia countries can offer you. So if you get a chance to try it just dig in and enjoy yourself as long as it is halal ❤.

Some of Indonesian foods probably came from China.. But we modified it with local culture especially in muslim perspective, like change pork material to chicken or beef or lamb

I think "Ayam Geprek" is not "Stress Chicken" but maybe "Smashed Chicken." Maybe that's more accurate 😅. Just remember, this is 'bout "the method/process of cooking the food (the Chicken)" not about "Chicken's life." If you misunderstand it, you might think it's "live chicken being smashed" to cook. 😂

Maybe. But the more popular assumptions is that, it is of Chinese influence. Because in Fujian dialect "Sa te" means 3 piece of meat. Indonesian skewers usually has 3 pieces of meat per skewer.
