I think this is also sort of connected to the root of our music, in that our music is also inclusive. 1:13 Speaking of Wuhan, my childhood memory is inseparable from the (Yangtze) river ever since I can remember. I have a special feeling towards the ferry, or the river. I've been taking the ferry to commute between Wuchang and Hankou as I grow up. It's also a very traditional form of transportation. Now many people still take the ferry to work everyday. It's closely related to the lives of people in Wuhan. 2:10 (Ferry Captain) The guy who's swimming, you see I'm coming. Swim faster, swim faster. The earliest historical record (about this ferry) dates back to 1900. So it has been functioning for 118 years. The history is quite long, more than a century. We feel very proud. 2:34 (Xu Bo, vocalist/guitarist) The song "Electronic Girl", she's actually a fictitious character that I conceived. Very vibrant, uplifting that kind of feeling, so it makes me feel full of hope. She often doubts herself - she doubts that she's electronic, or as if she's powered by a clockwork motor. During the lifetime, there are actually many things that one can't choose proactively. She'll be the same as everyone else, going through life experience that's almost identical (to that of other people), and do almost the same stuff that others do. But sometimes, her doubts are cleared, because other than humans, some other animals, they are all living their lives in ways that they are supposed to. The more one thinks, the more upset one becomes. Just let things be, it's not that complicated. The moment a person is born, he stands on a stage, and makes a debut. 4:20 (little girl) Wow, there are drums!

They were talking about their life in Wuhan city where the band was rooted and the band members grew up. A lot of clips in the video are typical looks of streets in Wuhan and how people live there. They put on a live show on a ferry boat which is a traditional transportation in Wuhan to cross the Changjiang river. The ferry boats have been working for over 100 years and have been in the memory of Wuhan for generations of people there, so they decided to put on a show on the boat.

And Xu Bo also shared his thought he had when he wrote the song "Electronic Girl". It's mainly about a fictional electronic girl who worries herself being wind-up and having no control of her life, doing the same thing every day. And this part of the video just randomly shows the faces of people on the ferry boat and the streets of Wuhan, making me think of the life of every ordinary people like myself, or those on the ferry boat going to work each morning. This is such a brilliant video, each footage is related to the sentence being said, I hope there will be subtitles added to it.
