When I took my car for a test drive, thinking that it would be fine with my previous tune on 1k cc units, it went dead lean as soon as I built boost above 5k rpm. I went back and looked at the flow chart sheet and it even said 860cc! I'm like wtf? I didn't buy 860cc China injectors ffs! These had a Bosch logo and part # on them too. Very clever.

Fuel injector tester, one of those great tools to have around for modern vehicles. Considering with the ethanol in the fuel. They tend to gum up much faster while sitting than before said introduction. I bought mine cause I have a number of fuel injected cars that tend to sit for long durations unused. So before I fire them back up, I pull the injectors and run a clean cycle, and often find i need to rebuild the seals at the same time. Both internal and at the fuel rail. Definitely don't want to have the "Tom Bailey" experience with seal failure.

Stop using the term gum for alcohol. Alcohol doesn't make gum. It cleans the dirt out of your fuel system and might get stuck in the injectors. Gas is dirty not alcohol

Had a similar experience with cheap 80lb Dekas. New out of the box I couldn’t get the car to run right. Had them tested, and found out they would start cutting out as they were turned up. And the spray pattern was garbage. Replaced with FIC injectors and all problems went away.

I have the same injector tester, it works pretty good. Downside is is only does 6 injectors at a time but o well. It worked for what I was using it for. Great video showing real vs fake injectors, I love all the tech you guys share on your channel. Keep up the great work!

I had the same experience with a MAF for my 2.8L and 3.2L BMW engines. I had 3 sensors, so I did some 2nd gear pulls down the road and logged the g/s of air flow. The two 20 year old OEM sensors were very close to each other. The Chinese one read way higher, but then plateaued at 4500 rpm and then started dropping. Needless to say, the computer was very confused. The odd part is it didn't show up when revving in neutral b/c it wasn't looking the MAF. When I went to the dyno, it ruined my day.

Guys just spend the money on them. I bought ebay “genuine” fuel injectors and for the first month or two it was perfect but i can tell now as acceleration is awful. Sometimes when im pressing the gas the car wont go over 10-15mphs (assuming the flow holes are clogged and then the pressure is finally causing them to clear) it sucks but spend the money on the ones that are like $100 PER INJECTOR.

I do injector servicing in my shop as an "on the side" thing. Its crazy on how bad these china injectors are. Those and the ones which are low flowing but modified to flow more. I always pretty firm on people spending money on genuine injectors since if something fails in the fueling it can take the whole motor with it.

i got a question if I have oem injector 1pin hole @ 243.8cc p/m and swap for 4pin hole 232.1cc p/m, will the 4pin hole spray more fuel than the single pin hole? can the 5.9L magnum benefit from 4pinhole vs the oem 1pin hole?
