Glastrier ❌ Chinese Glastrier ✅ It was so cool to see this team in action, all members put in work but seeing Glastrier body those stall teams is perfect 😂. It was also great to see the Tera fighting on Cress eliminate Kingambit like that. A room I would create would be to display all my games and consoles as I consider them art pieces at this point

Glad you enjoyed it bro :) Also that's a solid room idea. I just had a really cool thought btw. Imagine if Chinese Pokemon made appearances in the Pokemon anime. For example Ash could run into a Steelix, and he'd fight it with one of his Pokemon, let's say Heracross, and Steelix would be tanking hits left and right and giving Heracross a run for its money. Then Brock would yell over to Ash and be like "Ash look out! That's not just any Steelix. That's a Chinese Steelix!". Then Ash goes "Huh...? Chinese Steelix..." pulls out his Pokedex which then proceeds to read out the EV spread: "Steelix, the Iron Snake Pokemon. This Steelix is Chinese and has an EV spread of 168 HP, 64 Atk, 8 Def, 224 SpDef, and 44 Spe with an Impish nature" and Ash gets destroyed because it's actually the Chinese Year of the Snake LOL

Qotd… I’ve always liked the idea of having a secret room and I just always found the idea of a house having secret rooms interesting to have for some reason 😂 Maybe a man cave type secret room, but I no longer enjoy sports 😂 so maybe a gaming / collector room as I collector Pokemon and yugioh cards. And it can also double as a safe spot cuz of home invasions, chances are low but I also enjoy watching horror movies so kinda where the idea comes from 😂

I use glas in mono ice gen 9 doubles ou He’s op with Tera water with horsepower, icicle crash, heavy slam, and crunch to deal with 90% of ice’s threats (I just need an electric move to cover the steel flyers and junk)

Then Terrains becoming abilities. So perhaps Room effects like Trick Room, Wonder Room, and Magic Room will be next and given to Pokemon that aren't super broken, like below Indeedee level or something. Although while I feel it wouldn't be broken in singles, pretty sure it would be unbalanced in doubles metagames like VGC 😅

hi Heat Lord! in these days im having a lot of fun using a Gliscor set with fling + thief (instead of toxic + knock off), throwing toxic orb after getting poisoned. this leads to very interesting interactions, like being able to throw toxins also if taunted, or being able to poison recovery + benefits of leftovers, rocky helmet, boots, or other useful items. and if you dont like the item you just stolen, you can just throw it and stole another one! 😝

Great answer, I'd want that too! :) NYC apartments can be pricey so hopefully it gives some other good amenities? To answer your question I think stall is still quite strong in generation 9 provided it's not the same old generic stall that everyone runs. Unique stall like my signature stall for example can have interesting countermeasures, like Covert Cloak, Perish Trap, Taunt Trapping sets, etc and other unique things that may cause your opponent to sack the mon that could have helped them beat stall

For a non-offensive support Slowking set, we don't need to be faster. To give an example, when Slowking was in vs Zapdos in Game 2, the Lagging Tail allowed me to take the hit and then Chilly Reception out into Glastrier. Since Chilly Reception isn't negative priority, if I were to do that without the Lagging Tail, my Chilly Reception would go first and then the incoming Glastrier would have to take the damage from Hurricane, which isn't ideal.

Seeing the 3rd guy's team had me thinking, what types do they even resist ? Glastrier could have put in massive work since they had no ice resist besides lead Samurott, Diancie also did good damage with just rock moves bc they have no rock resist, and finally ursa could also have swept with just facade. I guess weezing could have countered ursa's guts, but it's by no means a counter.

That's the beauty of Trick Room teams, vs. most regular teams at least 1 of the offensive mons under trick room can do massive work :) I just checked the Weezing calc w/ Neutralizing Gas and Ursaluna still does a min of 50% with Facade to Physdef Weez which is wild atop nullifying Guts
