Actually during his term saw rapid decrease in terrorists incidents. Along with the fact that terrorist incident fell rapidly since the creation of NIA, Kashmir tourism was flourishing by 2013. Lowest footfall during his tenure was 11.75 lakhs(in 2014). In 2018, under the greatest spy master Ajit Doval, Kashmir tourism saw just 8.5 lakh visitors.

I used to feel that too, then I thought, maybe people who have been in a position where they had an insight into national policy planners, must take extra care that the strategy never leaks out during casual conversations. Better to say "I love Chinese noodles" than saying "we are planning to launch 3 mountain strike corps against China in 2025". If it's already planned, do it. No one benefits from declaring it beforehand. India has a SFF force of thousands of Tibetan fighters. Did we ever talk about it? no.

Give subtitles in Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu so that majority of Indians can understand the topics. Many believe most Indians would understand English but in real sense most don't.

Shiv Shankar has to be India's most articulate and deeply knowledgeable diplomat and security expert. People like Sashi Tharoor sound very impressive, but bullshit a lot and indulge in self-promotion with political agendas. Modi is advised to forget politics and induct Shiv Shankar in India's top foreign policy-making team.
