Yes, I first and foremost and upfront completely acknowledge the annoying and low class use of these titles such as this, "Chinese Historian DESTROYS Chinese Communist" . It is a play on the genre of videos on KZbin that apparently do well with the algorithm because of their inflammatory titles such as "Liberal/Conservative gets DESTROYED by Liberal/Conservative" so please try not to get too upset about it. I might switch it to EDUCATES in the future lol.
This particular video has been well circulated in Chinese speaking circles, especially those interested in this history and conflict. I was aware that there is also an interest amongst English speakers so I thought I would take the time to translate it, to the best of my ability. I was born and raised in Canada and learned all my Chinese here, so if I have mistranslated anything or can phrase anything better feel free to let me know in the comments.

Nobody 'educates" anybody in 8 minutes. And if you think one can you are simply stupid. The fact of the matter is that 2 of the 3 fastest growing countries today are communists. China and Vietnam. And that the US already admitted they can't keep up with them by banning stuff and imposing 100% tariffs n CARS, alleging that CARS are "a national security threat". LOL Those are the 2 new economic powers in this new world- China and Vietnam. Taiwan, as much as I respect their wish to maintain their lifestyle and democracy, is just a puppet state of the US. A US outpost in the Pacific. and that's the source of all the problem in the region. I seriously DOUBT China would have an issue in letting Taiwan go if they were TRULY independent. And I'm 100$ sure China doesn't have ANY problems with Filipino fisher. Their problem is he American bases. The presence of the Us in the Pacific (far, fa away from their home) is the real problem. Not China. We CANNOT say what Taiwan could achieve BY ITSELF. But we CAN say that what China and Vietnam and China are doing is due to their OWN ingenuity. It's also important to note that NEVE Taiwan was NOT part of China. Never, And that the only country that invaded Taiwan was JAPAN, not China. But "natin" and borders are abstract constructs and the fact is that Taiwan is a DE FACTO nation, by accident. And They should be kept like that because they are already to different form China. But let's repeat that. So far the ONLY country that invaded Taiwan was Japan and the US after the Japanese. China never invaded Taiwan. It was ALWAYS theirs.

@@JohnnyLynnLee He may not have all facts correct but there are lots of documentary on Culture Revolution during Mao's on KZbin that are hard for anybody to deny (such as killed all the insects eating birds which were supposed to keep the crops healthy and as a result, millions were starved to ...).

And after them the West. T build an outpost against communism during the cold war. The same now saying they want to protect the island. Ad that fact is that among the 3 fastest growing countries today (China. India and Vietnam) 2 are communists.
