Awesome video 💯 I looked at a Bluroc Spirit 125 in the green and chrome. Stunning bike and looking at this video it's pretty fun good and can't wait to get on the road 😁

You have answered your own question, the bike is still being run in and won't reach top speed, you should expect at least an extra 10mph after 1000km and first service, I also have a Bullit spirit which reached 68mph whilst still under 500km held it their briefly but backed off to not stress the engine, the spirit has a larger back tyre though to be honest and is sportier position.

I have to say I've done well over 1000 miles now and serviced and that's made no difference so I'm not sure why you saw a difference. The most I've ever got out of it is 67 mph and that was in perfect conditions and I really don't see that there's anymore in it. Happy for you that you've managed to get more.

@@get_to_the_lunchbox I think the spirits cafe racer aggressive style seating position is likely to be more aerodynamic hence reaching higher speeds, but to be honest these bikes are not designed for outright speed.

My Legend 125 speedo reads 3-4 optimistically too ! The times you went over 60mph were they downhill gradients? I've never got 60mph (as speedo reads) on the flat even when I'm whispering to the handlebars lol (ie fully leant forward) Do you have the stock knobbly tyres? I've read that road tyres improve handling, not sure if it goes any quicker though. I don't intend to keep mine for too long and whether it's worth swapping them out.

So I've kept the knobbly tyres, simply because of what you said, I don't intend to keep it long and I honestly don't see a need to change them. I've heard that too about improving handling and maybe performance, by putting something like Michelin pilots. But, I think it's a big expense for not much gain. Also as another youtuber said (can't remember who), tyres have to meet a standard, so just becasue they are a no name Chinese brand doesn't mean they are not safe. So when I reached "over" 60mph it was on flat road, not down hill. I was tucked in a little but not all the way. I'm 65kg so that helps possibly. I've downloaded an app that records speed from GPS so I'll do a comparison with that soon.

I have the herald maverick same bike essentially and the road tyres were the reason I fell in love with my bike. Handles like a super moto with very little vibration and will hold 60mph on flat. I did buy it new and have run the engine in correctly along with the new tyres🤟🏻

I have a set of good Dunlop road tires off my Bullit hero. They came with the bike and I'm never putting them on because I like to head off on gravel roads aswell. I'm in Ireland but will ship them for any reasonable offer. Rear is a 17 front is an 18

Yeah, I can confirm that once run in and had its first oil change it will feel like a different bike, more willing and a lot smoother !
