This is the most accurate Chinese I've heard from anyone in a long time. The vast majority of Chinese people, even those from Beijing, don't bother to speak this accurately and politely. This by far surpasses anyone who has done these I surprise people with the fact that I speak Chinese videos. The change in attitude and persona when one switches between English and Chinese gives me whiplash.

The maker of this video has far more demonstrated mastery, whether it be from his ability to use colloquial expressions or from his ability to be polite; he speaks better than natives. @@maryamkim1281that is very true, as a Jamaican myself tho, seeing as we are predominantly black and majority of our roots are African, it is not seen as offensive that the default grouping at our mention is black. To be honest, those of other ethnicities love to claim their Jamaican heritage but frown upon being identified as “black” even tho being Jamaican is essentially being creole, therefore you cannot claim to be anything but mixed with it. Jamaica has a very colourist society, and identifying with anything other than black is seen as beneficial in terms of social standing.

It's like a warm hug when you speak to people in their native language, just look at how quickly each person switched to mandarin once they realized he was able to understand. This makes me want to take my language learning more seriously, but it is a blessing when you grow up around it, so it comes more naturally.
