HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

We are all a product of our environment - humans are a very adaptable species. Spend time anywhere in the world long enough and you will pick up the accent, embrace the culture, and mannerisms. It is actually a trait for survival - both adapt and blend into your environment (putting aside difference in physical appearance).

Since the area is Kolkata, Bengali(Language) influence is there in the English. Actually there is no proper Indian accent as different states have different languages. So mother tongue influences the way we speak English. So there is different North Indian, South Indian , North East Indian English accents.

The Chinese food you had at the end was Indianized Chinese. And the dish was "Schezwan" Chicken which uses "Schezwan sauce" which is probably something only made in India. Most Indians would not eat authentic Chinese food because of the difference in ingredients and intense flavors. The restaurants that serve some authentic Chinese food in India are some high-end Chinese restaurants. I've had the opportunity to live in Shenzhen, China for a few months and loved the food there. I'm back in Mumbai and wish I could enjoy some of the Chinese food again. My favorite was the really spicy Chinese hot pot and the Sichuan chicken, pork, and fish dishes.
