Thank you, yet it usually takes forever for opera house to get him and others in, there are a great sadness, political science plus marketing campaign be the key to those grand operatic stages. I cannot find voice close to this at Met Stage, it is still Robert Alagna that is singing everything, so dry and so not even close...

Pavarotti is not spinto voice, this is much closer to MDM.

MDM has sung very rarely Nessun Dorma....his voice was very dramatic and his squillo was very strong at SIb....but over this Top, eg. SI - DO was MDM already a little bit in troubles...of course Pavarotti had a lighter voice as Tenore lirico, but, on the whole the interpretation of this Tenor and his squillo and facility on final SI was very closest to Pavarotti

@@shicoff1398 He is at Italy to do master degree, I do not think he ever has been here, and he is not as famous as Shi, since Shi got a lot of gold in competitions. He was born 1983. His name Mario was given by Mario's family members at Italy, I have to confirm which mario, maybe Lanza. Since most of his info are in chinese, it is not as easy and complete as English search. @@道-p2e Yes just heard the Ch Gelida and it was excellent, hope he stays with the lyric roles for now, a wonderful Lyric spinto voice here, hope to hear him in complete opera's in the big USA opera houses, not just as here in recital halls. Also he will be fine in European opera houses, even if he does not come here, the Met. in NYC sadly misses many wonderful singers these days, very political there. @@shicoff1398 If you ask the public or opera lovers, no one will know that ML has the same height as of RT!!! shocking to know. I am 5'11 but still want to be a few inches higher like my brothers... kind of understand ML wearing elevator shoes!!! That is a high tech and poetic word. I am very happy to enlarge my english vocabulary, thank you so much. One of my english teacher taught me extensive details with stories of some "real english". When I said to someone at University "I am flattered and appreciate so much..." She was stunned that these words coming out off my mouth!!! And it is not only the recorded sounds that can easily cheat, but the recorded photos also will tricky eyes to make funny judgement. ML looks so much taller...and no one looks good when adding pounds. It could be the italian pasta and or beers that benefited his belly... reminds me that Pavarotti's favorite food be chocolate and pasta!!! Have to admire the determination of Callas to lose 50 pounds(well spread, maybe elevated facts...) within short period of time.

Ummm no. This mans voice is leggiero or lyric at most. Which isn’t a bad thing. Leggiero is supposed to be big. Leggier i is supposed to be dark. People forget that why? Listen to Fisichella. He shows that leggiero should be big and full. But let’s not say this mans voice is huge or similar to del Monaco because it’s not even close to the same kind of voice

@@MyZakatak some leggero tenore may have been big and dark, but it's not what it's "supposed" to be. Leggero should be high, agile and most of the time it's a thinner voice than the other types of tenors. This man is a spinto for sure. Sparkling high notes, pretty big voice.
