One thing I’ve noticed in conjunction with my life experiences and within your posted videos: regardless of country, those on the countryside are far more hospitable than those within the “Concrete Jungle” (metropolitan areas). Maslow was correct when he stated we are all the same. We all share basic needs. 1. To sustain life 2. A dwelling in which to live and 3. People to share with! This core basic is resounding within your videos as you break boundaries of culture - both negative and positive. When respect is (shared) given AND received - the world is without boundaries and very beautiful to behold! Continue the great work and journey my friend! You have a loyal follower! Thank you! I feel like there's something wrong with that. In almost every country in the world, there are no laws prohibiting foreigners from renting rooms. When do you have free time? Try making a trip to Vietnam. There you are completely free. Wherever you want to go is up to you, rent any hotel or motel room you want. There is no restriction whether you are a foreigner or a Vietnamese. If they don't accept foreigners. Call the Police to ensure that that place of business will be heavily fined. It also warms my heart that you finally met kind people.

Yes in many cities within mainland china, can not stay in local hotels, its against the law in many cities, you have to make plans months in advance before you travel to certain areas. Also you need to let them know your also from another country aswel for so no one will get in trouble. locals have different /separate hotels from foreign travelers.

Exactly that’s how it is. I haven’t encountered that because I usually go to big cities where it’s not necessary to do that. This was my first time and i got a bit confused

It's all on you if you can't find accommodation before starting a trip. You could've easily went onto Trip and looked up hotels/hostels that accept foreigners in the local area that you're travelling to. 💩💩

This is China bro. You can’t book hotel before going to the local police station to register that you just came to that city. The hotel won’t even give you booking unless you have been registered with the police. Watch my next video coming soon to see how complicated it is

It’s different here they can’t book me until I am at the place. First register to the nearest police station then go to the hotel. All that process can’t be done on phone
