No matter what I saw 3 times because I love this deama and both caracters are awsome they made me laugh and cry too. The landscapes, the clothing are extremely beautiful, the garments made with great delicacy, the bower that is formed is beautiful. Xiao Zhan is an excellent actor, he is very real in his acting and fits his role perfectly. Untamed gave both yibo and xiaozhan a great success...their toxic fans were the one's who made him suffer..tbh i wasn't knowing either yibo or xiaozhan...i only got to know them through untamed...later i followed them and knew how talented they are...i am still so addicted to untamed that i always watch their reels and videos...And the reason only xiaozhan got targeted because if you see he plays a bottom (in the sense of BL) and ofcourse yibo was top...i don't know why people did that...personally i really loved and will be loving the character wei wuxian for his immense acting talent. i didn’t know them either until i watched the untamed and i liked their dynamics and i did ship them either as lanwangji and wei wuxian but ofc i don’t do hardcore shipping. but i have seen that some fans do and sometimes going as far as edit their faces on some intimate stuff and some put their own fantasies about those 2 onto them and dubbed it as real or facts. sometimes loving their ship too much can hurt their ships a lot without them noticing what they have done to their fav ships. especially in the country that are so strict about same sex relationships, which can easily get cancelled at any given moment. i’m lucky to not ship people that far, i just here admiring their bonds between people. i almost cried listening to this video especially at the part about him not resting and eating properly. and when they mentioned xianlu’s concerns about him not eating well and also it made sense why wang yibo was so concerned about him eating well in the behind the scenes. i’m glad the whole crew had/have this bond and it shows how close they all were/are. even i as an audience thought they were so thin and looked tired. i actually saw him in oh my emperor first and then in the wolf or something. even tho i didn’t know who he was but i saw his charm and was attracted to his characters each time without knowing that the actor was xiaozhan

totally agree with the stuff you say. i think it’s hard to actually embrace the character and be that character. once being that character for so far ofc it’s gonna be hard to break free. it would be like cutting off part of you. as someone that enjoy watching asian drama and reading manga/manhua/manhwa and webtoons, it’s already hard for me to move on from my fav characters after bonding with each characters. i can’t imagine how hard it would be for the actors that have to be the characters and then say goodbye to the characters

That is one pitfall a lot of actors fall into. Some either treat a role as a job and come off fake with whoever they're portraying, or they embrace the role and pull the character off with draw back. To me Xiao Zhan comes off as a method actor, method actors tend to pull out out of their character roles the hardest, especially if they have been on a longer project, whether it be a movie or telly show. He is an awesome actor, and I like all of the roles he has been in thus far. He has talent, and I hope he doesn't let burn out hit him so early. I wish him luck and prosperity no matter where the road takes him. 😊 Plus when one part of the community is negative towards an individual, such as Xiao zhan that means they have nothing going on worth while themselves or just hating on him cos they are miserable.

XiaoZhan had been professionally trained for acting since the Wolf, and his light weight were because at that time people thought thinness would fit the role WeiWuxian more. The shooting for him in Untamed is hard for him, but he managed to complete his role wonderfully. The Untamed is The Best By Far. I loved everything about it and i love it even more now that I hear how hard Xiao Zhan worked to make sure how Wei Wuxian was projected. Xiao Zhan did a commendable and fantastic job bringing Wei Wuxian to light. I admire him for taking this character and making him his own. I'm sorry he had to go through those hardships. His hard work and dedication to the role made him who he is today and its sad that some people have to be so mean and hurtful to Xiao Zhan. What he went through was sad but he's still here even though some disrespectful people tried to get him cancelled. I appreciate how hard it was for him to come back after what happened to him. I still love him and I'll stand with him in whatever he chooses to do. Xiao Zhan is the sweetest guy ever and I love him so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The drama didn't ruin or made xiao zhan suffer. He has been very vocal even after post-drama that he considers cql one of his greatest accomplishments and is so proud of it. The toxic fans were the ones who caused him such problems. And not just him, but to his co-star, wang yibo as well. Their individual fandoms and stupid biases caused a rift in such a wonderful friendship and chemistry (whether platonic or not). They're the fucking reason why we will never ever see them work together again, or interact or even just be an arm's length with each other.

The were cold, heartless people who wanted to eliminate Xiao Zhan. He was a thorn in ther side, an unwelcome competitor because he is so good and special. Hatred, envy and intolerance were directed against him. It hasn't quite stopped yet. He has his art that speaks for him. Untamed is the best costume drama ever.

Xiao Zhan done a great job as We wu xian character. “The Untamed” is the best Chinese drama and I’m surprised the drama is still being talks about until today. And I am still watching it over and over again. Xiao Zhan is an amazing actor and also the rest of the Untamed members . Hi I'm from the UK and I've just watched The Longest promise. If I could watch this Mesmorizing Actor Xiao Zhan 24 hours a day every day I would. He is an Amazing Actor and the skills this young man learnt to play such a fantastic role which suited him as he brought this Character Alive. The Actress who he loved was great too. Я очень благодарна Сяо Чжаню за его тяжелый труд и жертвы во время съемок Неукротимого. Результатом стала лучшая дорама, которую пока (на мой взгляд) ещё ничто не смогло превзойти. Неукротимый вывел его и Ван Ибо на мировую сцену, фактически подарил их миру! Он стал их крыльями, давшими им полет. И я рада, что Сяо Чжань не пытается отказаться и отдалиться от этой роли, как пытается сделать Ибо.
