Well maintained chopper, rotor balanced nice, good mill and minimal vibration. Over 75 years of the lovely 47 and still going strong!

They may have been loved by the mechanics but the pilots put them through so much shit dropping in for a thousand feet doing auto rotations yeah that's fun!

You can’t beat a 47’s bubble for the view, awesome! A Brantley comes close but the 3-blade rotor makes hangering more challenging.

I did my conversión license with Chinook Helicopters in 2003, from January to March. At this time Chinook Helicopters was a small helicopter flight school with a wonderful atmosphere. My instructor was Andy Roe.

if you are a pilot then you could see that my legs are long and this is the reason for not holding the handle very well.. but i made it work because this air craft is easy to fly. i got better at the landings with more experience. if it was my helicopter i would modify the grip to fit my hand . now as for blowing the pilot i think not. no thank you. instructor one of the best ones at chinook

Ive never seen anyone hold the cyclic like that...
@smb56552 жыл бұрын
That's what happens when you're tall and you have long legs and it's an easy aircraft to fly so you just need your fingers anyway.

What is wrong here ? First of all a Chinook has 2 rotors , Ch-47 ! I used to be a mechanic in the US Army , it has 2 Turbines , and 4 transmissions ! You got it all wrong!
