If you're really good with quick right hand stuff like that fast alternate picking/palm muting and open notes between the open d string and the melody. At least for my friends and I in high school, this intro was harder to learn than sweep picking and legato, so maybe we just weren't fast enough at pedaling. Like we had a harder time with it than we did learning Alaska by BTBAM.

2024! I saw this bands last show as the real chiodos with Craig and all the original guys together. This was my favorite band when I was 16 and this was my favorite song and all these years later it still makes my spine tingle hearing the intro riff. This was the soundtrack to my later teenage years. I hope they realize how much of an impact their music has made on peoples lives. Some things are too good to fade away Some things last forever.
