ohio state had the ball on their own 25 yard line with 45 seconds left in the michigan game. On the first play their quaterback threw the ball to the right side line at the line of scrimmage for no gain. On the second down do you know what the quaterback did. He did the same flucking thing. He threw the ball to the right sideline, at the line of scrimmage for again "no flucking gain". Chip ole boy, who called those plays and please don't put that shit on the QB. He needs to throw the ball down field I do not care what the coverage is. Going for a football is just like rebounding in basketball, I get it or you get it. Those were the 2 stupidest plays I have ever seen and I started following college football on January 1, 1949. So, please explain those game. In the 1983 Miami, Boston College game, B.C. was behind by four points with just 25 seconds and they started on their own 20 and they won the flucking fame.

Its not optimal, but still possible if you scheme right. I would lean towards running a tempo offense with a bunch of plays on the perimeter, spreading the ball to all these great WR's with quick passes, options, end arounds, outside runs, and screens. Run tempo and force the defense to make quick decisions. Once they get a lead and the defense is worn out, the running game will probably work even better.
