Yes, first year WSOP has used Normandy and Provence rooms. Mostly used for Daily Deepstacks tournaments and sometimes overflow for big field Bracelet events. I've played several Daily Deepstacks tourneys in both rooms and yes, they are long and narrow ! While you were playing your day 1 there, I started my day 1 in Paris and then got moved to Horseshoe after several hours. Ended day 1 playing table next to you in Horseshoe. We both made day 2! Also, if you play in Provence again there is a Fastrac machine just outside the Normandy Room one level down from Provence. If you don't want to get on so many steps, lol.

You are correct... Provence and Normandy are new this year. They have always been part of the Horse Shoe (Las Vegas and Jubilee Ballrooms formerly) and yes, this is the first year that WSOP has used those two rooms.

The most interesting hand, so far, was the hero call on the river with 22. I mostly play cash and I don't find preflop all-ins all that interesting, but I understand that it's a function of stack depth

Got a question for you Lexi. Since tournaments are all BBA format now, why do you and the other vloggers keep referring to how many BBs you have? I play tournaments, and I always calculate my stack in number of orbits.

on 22 hand, I don't think I would believe you have a 6 if you check-raised the flop. Great spot to check-raise if you actually do have the 6, but not with 22 where villain has plenty of overpairs and there are so many turns that will hurt you. Good call. On river, great call. I have to believe villain would have bet the turn with a big flush draw (KTdd, for example) after c-bet. In retrospect, if you had check-raised the flop, he never would have tried to bluff the river since you would have presented as if you had a 6 (or at least something else you would not have folded). Well done! Keep going!!!! We're rooting for you!
