On the 1200 I know what you mean especially ladies events tend to be a bit friendlier so you don’t want to be a jerk but asking the floor to help answer a question and clarify is imo totally acceptable.

If you think she LEGITIMATELY meant 1200, then in the best interest of the game, this is what the bet should be. If there is a chance she was angling, that's different. Rulings should be made in the best interest of the game, and not severely punishing a rec player for a legit oopsie would fall under this rule.

You shouldn’t call the floor because you lost value… you should call the floor, because she should be called out for a leveling move like that, Lexi. Genuine mistake or not, you should protect yourself. I would have called the floor and defended the player to an extent that you give her the benefit of the doubt that she meant to bet 1,200, but you want to be clear that you won’t accept that type of play without penalties! That will make her learn.

100 percent not your fault in the KJ hand and 1000 percent should never have been in that position. Dealer needs to call floor himself. You never put that on the player. She obviously meant 1200? Why did she throw out two 5k chips?

Calling the floor on the “12” bet wouldn’t have gained you any chips. She put out two chips, and said “12”. She put out enough to bet 1200, but not enough to bet 12,000. 1200 is the bet.
