Thanks for the video, seems I did everything correctly from reading the gearloc sheet. I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy Boomer as much as I did because of the unpredictable nature of rolling for parts, then the unpredictable nature of throwing a bomb that could end up in a bones. She came in clutch on so many fights and her ranged attack allowed her to just snipe something from afar. Sonic Cleanse was so useful as we kept getting poisoned from Bog creatures. I actually had fun trying to build bombs and search for parts. She's a great gearloc.

how to get bag's a boom die ? since hand grenade die we will get if we roll search for 325.

Do the element, casing and fuse dice stay in the locked slots after the battles (so you can safe them) just like normal locked dice?

Yes, they do, until they are each exhausted by counting a die down to one

Please could someone clarify any changes to the comment 'adjacent' regarding frags etc, as some people say it's orthogonal where as this video mentions all spaces touching. I'm currently playing and really don't want to play boomer incorrectly. I'm finding her quite enjoyable to play.

Great video! Ive got a question: in boomer shit doesnt refer to "targets" when speaking about grenades...so are stun and napalm grenades in need of a target? ( So you couldnt deliver them on untargetable baddies unlike frag)

All boomer grenades can affect untargetable baddies

I have a question about the boomer backup skill 3 / Is it picking a unit and placing it adjacent to it somewhere on the field?

Her backup plan 3 skill allows her to essentially force a unit to move into a position adjacent to their current position.

What happens when you roll a bone on a Casing die? Can you choose not to use it and reroll later?

Yes, you may return the die to your mat to be rerolled on a future turn. The only time you have to resolve bones results are when they're red like on Boomer's Frag die.

All attacks that Boomer launches are ranged (unless otherwise stated) as she's a ranged Gearloc.

Boomer feels extremely underwhelming. I had everything seemingly go right last night in a game and I still didn't do more than any other character. I'm talking about rolling 325 and getting my best bombs to go off and still, she just doesn't bring enough to the table. Not to mention she dies faster than fast if your not careful. Feels like she needs a sizable buff like letting you keep rolling in the 3 green dice after you use them to keep crafting bombs. The time it takes to craft them should be enough balance for the damage.

Not sure she should be buffed as we regularly hear stories of her one-shoting Tyrant's before the other Gearlocs get a turn. Remember that Boomer is ranged and can do huge bursts of damage from afar to multiple baddies.
