I absolutely love your builds. I've built your viking builds almost exclusively on my Fjordur singleplayer map. I appreciate the fact that you go fast enough that its not boring, but your slow enough that anyone can follow along. And the fact that you pause and show the build as we go is very helpful. I haven't subbed to anyone as fast as I have to you. And the showing the pieces for the next section is very helpful for non-god mode.

Great Video with exellent instructions, both visibly and audibly. I just want to make other builders aware of how shite s+ structures are for this build. I was unable to use half the snappoints in the video with s+ and needed to build every wall etc as normal again. Pretty painful with normal rates

Thank you very much. Yeah I would not recommend using s+ if you are following any tutorial you see on KZbin. Most are made to work with vanilla mechanics

Thanks! I believe in my 100 Days I put it in place of the grinder as I wasn't using one. If you wanna keep the grinder you could replace one of the vaults near it.

I really like this build, I'm thinking of giving this a shot in the future with a modification to it. I'm thinking of making another "Crafting room" at the end of the room with the giant trap doors and copying the storage room as well; basically making a half-square by mirroring the build. This way I can turn the second crafting room into a hatchery and maybe a greenhouse/bee farm for the other hallway. Or just another stables for non-gatherer tames like Raptors or Equus. Still on the fence about that one

That sounds like a great idea! You could also add two more rooms on the other two sides of the tower. Making sorta like a + sign building.

At 18:55 when you say to place the three walls. Whenever I place one wall I cant place any others. Got any fixes? Also great build, I got to it by watching your 100 days The Island!

I figured it out. I was using S+ Walls not regular walls and that's why they were snapping weird.

I used this build in non derogaticsted with friends it was frustrating but worth it I had 1 thing uneven n had to go from top to middle n rebuild to make it even💀 you got to follow direct directions

Where is the smithy in the workshop? Where is the best place to put one down?

I didn't include one because the beaver saddle had one. But if you want a dedicated smithy it can fit on one of the side walls where the tames are.

No matter what I do when placing the hatchframes for the dino pen, it doesn’t put the hinges the way they need to go, so it’s stuck opening sideways, any fixes?

On step 29 how did you get rid of the thatch ceilings?

You just look at them and hold down the option button to pull up the option wheel. Then select the one that says, "destroy thatch ceiling"

Step 5 you stated you needed 8 stone walls when in fact you needed 10, I counted all the ones you put down, I did wonder if I somehow used too many but I didn’t, I just needed to build two more!

Sometimes they are just stubborn. At least from my experience. You just have to keep opening them and eventually they will swing the right way. I've tried everything to figure out if there is a trick to getting them to go one way or the other and so far found nothing.
