Looks like that nano silk frays more than UTC thread?

My hands are pretty raw and calloused so holding the bobbin is asking for any thread to fray. Also the fact that I throw caution to the wind around the hook point doesn't help my case haha. Thanks for watching brother!

Really don't see any reason for using nano silk on a fly of this sort. UTC or Danville would be far better choice for this application.

Oh I'm a convert to Semperfli threads now for sure. Used to be a diehard UTC fan until I started working with Nanos and Semperfli Class Waxed threads. Nano helps keep those size 18s super thin, which is a nice benefit. Splitting hairs to some people, but I'm a big fan of the stuff that Sempefli cranks out. Best in the biz in my opinion!
