It has to deal with stimulating the semicircular canals which affect the vestibular nuclei which affect decending neuronal pathways which affect muscle tone/strength. Actually, I answered your question before seeing the particular segment you were commenting about. Tiliting the head also activates the cerebellum, which fires into the cortico-ponto-medullary-dento-rubo pathway which affect muscle control. (My neuro is really rusty,.) Also changing the position of someones head, while not demenstrated in this vidoe, affects the primitive tonic neck reflexes which affect motor strenght. What is this 'nonsense you ask?. Some of us call it science.
