Just came across your content by chance. Very true what you said; I guess the experience is more important than physical things and artificial exhibits. You want to make sure your guests has the best experience when they come to your house - the only way to ensure this to ensure their hearts are filled with happiness and good food is available. I usually invest my time in planning my food menu rather than cleaning and exhibiting our house. I usually try to get to know my guests bit more and compliment them. Very nice explanation of real feelings mam.As you said,in olden days whatever is available in the house,it will be served to them.It is not the case now.in olden days,guests also join in household works with the house lady and will eat whatever is cooked.Nowadays guests will not do any work and used to say ,we eat only pizza,burger,fried rice, almonds,cashews,pistas etc not less than anything of this kind.Thatswhy nowadays most of us are not interested in welcoming guests.

Completely agree with ur perspectives... Most of the times it happens people host to show off only. Neenga sonna madhri there is no heart to heart conversations but showing off interiors and cutlery... Sometimes the guests also start giving advices as to how one should cook, maintain etc...also start bragging about themselves their children etc...i think Both parties shouldnt judge and continue to get consoling real words rather than focussing on life style... I think that's the reason we feel at home in out native place old paatis house rather than star hotels... All your points are exactly my school of thoughts... Cheers madam..
