And I thank you. At the risk of sounding strange, I was a little struck by the parallels while I was listening to this video. At the poimt in my life where where my Independence is somewhat challenged, one of the things I'm most grateful for is the travel I was able to experience in my younger years. South america, europe, caribbean, mexico. The other thing I'm most grateful for is the Border Collie who appeared one day on the porch where I worked, filthy dirty and with a huge chain around his neck extending 3 ft where the chain had broken. He was there one day, spent the night there, and was there the next morning. I took him home and went back to work and made a grooming appointment. When I picked him up, his Beauty was astounding. I didn't even know there was white on him. He was so proud of the way he looked, and for 16 years Winston was the love of my life. He came to me when I needed him the most, and he changed my life . Again, thank you for all you do ellie. You truly are a gift. Just like my Winston was.

Good morning Ellie and All. How about a factoid about American history. First of all, I’m Native American. Cree, Apache & Inuit( Alaskan). Did you know that the meal that is served on Thanksgiving day never happened!! The original meal that was eaten on that day was SEAFOOD! The garbage that had been dumped on the society for 100’s of years is total crap. Hope this message spreads.

After seeing so many videos on people who voted for him being disinvited for Thanksgiving dinner, I feel grateful that it's not an issue for my brother and the small get together we have. I have a maga cousin in tex-ass, who is too far away for it to be a consideration, since I'm in Pittsburgh. Anyway, he unfriended me during the first orange administration. I don't blame those who cut off ties with friends and family. There needs to be consequences for an appalling vote such as this. Thanks for the message. I really enjoyed it.

@karenrichards3660, Your father is very wise. While our history books tell us about that wonderful day when Native Americans shared food with starving Pilgrims; most have failed to mention that the newcomers had nearly annihilated the Natives partly out of fear of mixing with another race, whom they assumed were heathens, but also in order to make room for more white colonists. That's the truth behind the fairytale.

Ellie, my sisters and a friend went to Chinese food for Thanksgiving and we are having family Thanksgiving dinner on Friday😅. I had a teacher do the same to me in high school. I wanted to be an architect. My true regret for listening too. He told me that wasn’t for girls. I was too young and didn’t have adult support. It’s all good though. I can encourage my grandchildren to be their own person and put their oxygen mask on first so to speak, before they can be helpful to others. I am doing the same for myself. Loved hearing your story.

If you think about it, this election/Pluto ingress/whatever, is an excellent time to do a reset on our individual lives. Zero our play history, go back to level one, delete memory storage. Start over from the beginning, but with the experience we have now. Consider now the starting point to which, in 20 years, we can look back and say, "On that day, I could never have imagined _this,"_ but do everything we can to make _this_ something we really want rather than something we really don't.

Ellie, I do have an *odd question:* it falls into the 'would of, could of, should of category, *but I figure if any platform/reader would take it on, it would be you!* My question: Is it possible that "since the U.S. election didn't go the other way, no matter how hard we worked, is it possible that the outcome of Trump ascending to the Presidency can actually turn out for the better in that it will speed up the process of America (MAGA) coming to its senses, seeing through the lies and delusions (because of the chaos that will follow, the negative outcomes we'll surely experience, etc.)?" Thank you 'ever so much for everything you do! My kids are dispersed around the states for Thanksgiving, I *have to share!* So, I spent Thanksgiving listening to your playlists!!!!

I love and also live what you said. Once something or a day is over, it's done, gone. I don't remember a lot of things because I see them in the past. Like the dates I worked at a certain company. I know I worked there for 13 years but couldn't really tell you the dates. It just doesn't matter. It frustrates others, but I think they are nuts for trying to remember such details that don't matter today. I really do live in the now. Always have, and that's a mystery to so many others. Oh well, be happy today because tomorrow is not promised. 🎉❤

None of them had ever heard the song or the story behind it. That song always gives me the chills and feels especially prevalent right now. They were amazed by the story and the song and all the artists in it. Although it was a long time ago, the unity in that song gives me hope. I'm always amazed what people remember. I talk to someone and here the family names and histories and then forget it all, because it isn't something I'll ever need to remember. A casual meeting with someone I may never see again, do I really need to remember the name of the dog and kids and second husband/wife? No. But, I know people who do keep all the background info in case.

I got poor counseling as well, but it happened my last year of junior high. I loved math and excelled at it, but the counselor said, "You're Mexican, you should Major in Spanish." I was devastated! But in my culture, and having been brought up to respect elders, especially teachers, I assumed he knew better than I and went that trajectory. Ultimately, because of prejudice in the University's Spanish Department, I became a lawyer and practiced for almost 45 years. Now I'm an intuitive psychic counselor addicted to YOU, dear Ellie!!! I got hooked on you about May 2020, close to when you started. Your lovely attitude makes my day! I give thanks for your life and all that you share! Eternal blessings for you.
