My dad once had a boss who tried to drive him to quit. My dad was the oldest employee, had been there the longest and had the highest pay and the most PTO as a result. This boss did not like that and did everything he could to get my dad to quit. My dad even went to the board to ask them if they wanted him gone, and they said no. He was considered an asset to the company and they would under no circumstances allow my dad's boss to fire him. So the man made my dad's life a living hell. My dad was close to retirement, but not close enough that he could retire early. If he had quit it would have messed up his retirement plans and his ability to live comfortably after he did retire. Bosses who do that to people for some kind of political agenda are pure evil.

I really wanted to egg his car after my dad retired, but the man got promoted to a different position that took him to a different city before I had the chance. Fortunately that meant my dad didn't have to deal with him anymore. He got a new boss, who was more professional, but a moron who didn't know anything about telecommunication, and was a glorified manager. She made a lot of stupid decisions like hiring kids fresh out of high school to do jobs that normally require a degree and expected my dad to train them but at least she wasn't actively trying to make him quit. Happy ending for my dad though, he finally managed to retire and is living his best life road tripping all over the US with my mom.

I've been reading online Project 2025 Day One Mandate is to dismantle the structure of the gov. It feels as if it was written by a 6th grader. There is no logic. The USDA section complains about no mention of food production while being critical of the intrusion of too much gov. The person writing the document has no understanding of the role of gov in agriculture. Gov. spans across several separate depts in regards to food production. DT in charge of anything is truly terrifying. Dementia is a real issue for his age group.

Yes Trump will roll back regulations just like he did with the Railroads. The only thing is, will we be able to trust the food?? One friend of mine said, oh well they will attack the dyes, and poisons in our food now! While true that Canada and other countries ban some of the dyes in our food, but the FDA deems them safe. If nobody is watching, who knows what else they might add. The safety regs for railroads was about having "hot boxes" every 25 miles. These "boxes" monitor heat on the trains wheels, and if they exceed a certain temperature, it will send a signal to the engineer, to stop the train, and let the wheels cool down. Trump rolled it back after Industry complaints that it was too costly, and it resulted in two derailments. The hot wheels warped the rails, and caused the cars behind it to derail. The one in Palestine Ohio was particularly bad, because it had cars with toxic chemicals, that caught fire, and released toxic fumes into the air. People are now being monitored for cancer and other disorders. Trump even went there and slammed Biden for not showing up, but DOT, NTSB, and other Federal Agencies were on scene assisting residents. Trump had nerve doing this, since his roll backs directly led to the derailment in the first place!! 🤔

MAX STIER is the best advocate for the federal civilian workforce I've heard on any of these politically driven channels/podcasts. Please read what I wrote again. :) I said the private sector is fine but not unions in government at the federal, state and local levels. The government is there to serve the people and having a union within it is the ultimate special interest. In my solid blue state I am in now they have taken over policy and get laws passed with priorities being their jobs, their pensions, their own interest. Think about it this way...awhile back our state had issues and the answer is "talk talk your local representative" It ends there. MY neighbor is a government employee had similar issues and got to go to a meeting with the governor of the state and other congressional officials directly...and he (they) got an immediate audience for what he wanted. That is insane and not how the government is supposed to operate, especially when his entire job only exists because I fund it with my taxes.

A Tesla Cybertruck crashed at Hampton Road and King Avenue just after 3 a.m., where it also caught on fire. Police say moments later a second car pulled up to the scene and the driver managed to pull one person out of the Cybertruck. That person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. A mother close to the families of the victims told ABC7 News all four people graduated from Piedmont High School in 2023 and were sophomores in college. She said that two of the victims who died were men and the other was a woman. The person injured is a man who is now sedated and recovering from burn wounds post-surgery.
