Darlene, don’t let your fears stop you from doing things if you get a home you have an alarm put in you won’t be scared or even a fenced in yard with an outside dog. I’m 70 years old. I’ve been a widow since I was 38 and I’m able to manage my house and you have Derek that can help you if there’s things you’re too frightened to do. Don’t let fear stop you you’ve come so far.

I’ve been a home owner and I hated it. I need to remember just how much I hated it. MY long time viewers know how owning not only one, but TWO HOMES, made me miserable. It’s one of the main reasons why I sold them and moved to MS. I can’t let myself forget that.

I have been divorced since I was 35 and am 75 now. I have a home and doing ok with the updates. I do not worry because I have cameras outside and three big dogs. You will be ok.❤🎉

I'd love to see more crumb quilting videos. Would also love to learn more about your carnivore journey. You look so much happier and healthier and the weight loss is amazing! You seem much happier than when I first started following. Love the crochet videos, craft anything, as well as most others. You're REAL and down to earth- love it!! Always caring for others!!

I would love a crooked patchwork quilt. I’m really into that- quirky and “weird” stuff.

Maybe you could do small versions of those things you talk about. Like the chair with the pot, you could have that even inside. I have so many indoor plants. They fill my heart. ❤️ love your honesty and openness. It’s nice to see real people online- it’s rare!

Darlene, just a thought , maybe purchase a 2 family home and Derek and Skyler can live in one of the units. You could collect rent from him and maybe task him with the phone calls if needed.

Wow I can’t believe it has been 3 years already! You are correct, a house is a lot of responsibility! If you are happy, and your son and granddaughter are near, stay. Someone takes care of your yard. You want to plant buy a planter above ground, you can enjoy a few planter pots. You have a pool, you don’t have to maintain. Do you need more reasons to stay?😂😂

But I’d go insane as a home owner. I hated being a home owner so much. I need to remember that.

Maybe you could get a storage unit to do some of the refurbishing work then sell it at a flea market. No commitments. Sometimes there are also community gardens in different places.... ❤ your channel, I've been a viewer for many years.

I downsized to a condo ... it is a nice compromise (and I immediately felt safer than I did in my house, so I get it). I recently added up the maintenance costs of my previous home and very quickly exceeded the cost of my HOA dues. But, even with a condo, you do have to maintain the inside, and that would likely require phone calls ;)

FOMO: Fear of missing out. It's real when you become unshackled from your previous life with mom. Now you are learning you have options and choices if you want to go out.

You could buy a duplex and let your son live in the other half. Or get a condo. ❤

If he goes through the angiogram with no problems, he’ll be out in a couple hours or so on the other hand. If there’s any issues you’re right might be there the rest of the day or overnight. Good luck.

Maybe try renting for awhile. Some neighborhoods are really friendly but stay out of your business.
