@@sd6212 we’ve been caught up in the social media fever… I opted to not be influenced by people who are self proclaimed experts anymore for a while now. Rmember back when I had a laborious wash day routine too. So glad I'm done with that. I'm down to 3-4 h including waiting times and braiding/twisting, 3 products and thick hair to my waist.

Thank you so much for this video! My stepdaughter has the same hair texture as you and I've been trying to figure out how to make her hair really moisturized afterwards. I know you said that someone was going to probably blow dry your hair for you but is that something you could do within the same day? Like put on all of those moisturizers and then blow-dry it right away to stretch it out for like braids or whatever?
@curlytisha4375
@curlytisha4375 3 жыл бұрын
I'm speaking from experience as I've been natural for over 3 years. Yes you can definitely do that. If you apply a sealant on the hair to lock in moisture and apply a heat protectant you can blow dry on the same day. Blow drying does not remove (at least it should not) moisture when it is well sealed and a good heat protectant was applied. 😊 Hope this helps!

Deep conditioners are restorative, not preventative! So unless your hair isn’t healthy you shouldn’t need to use deep conditioners. Additionally, conditioner only needs to sit in your hair for about five minutes to be effective (Steam doesn’t make it any more effective)
