My buddy and I were just waiting for them to finish when we see this dude in the crowd. We get a little closer and it’s John Frusciante! 😅 we started chatting with him and he had mentioned that he was there to see Silver Dagger because his chick likes them. So this was in between sets, and they were about to leave, and he had never heard of chk chk chk before. We were like dude you gotta fucking stay and check them out! We chatted for a little bit and he told us about the Stadium Arcadium release that was coming out in winter. The band came on and we split up, at the end of the show I was at the merch booth, getting some shit and this dude slaps me on the back and give me a hug, and it’s fucking John! He was like thanks for convincing me to stay! These dudes rock! Well, a few months later, these fuckers were on a European tour with the red hot chili peppers. 😂😂 true story man..
