Thanks a lot for making these videos! I bought this bag (same color!) preloved about three years ago and have barely worn it. Part of the reason is the pandemic, but I also just have always felt self-conscious wearing it even though I love looking at it. It's a real statement piece and maybe I am just shy. :) I have a lot of the same impressions as you. I was drawn to it for its unique style. It is super loud when wearing it. You can hear it squeaking around for sure. I loved your observations about Chloe keeping the Tess bag around for multiple seasons. When I was buying, I was considering the Tess and the Nile. Chloe kept the Tess but phased out the Nile. The Nile was ultra-trendy! I saw another comment asking about wrinkling. I am not sure about it wearing out where the flap opens, but mine has started to wrinkle on the back where the leather bows inward slightly along where it is bonded at the bottom edge. Hope that makes sense. If yours has not started to do that yet, it might help to keep some packed paper inside when not in use to support the shape and prevent those wrinkles. I've gotta get mine out and wear it now and then! Thanks again for the great and thorough opinions about this bag!

Hi! Yes the bag is smooth leather so it may be prone to scratches, but it think it would take a fairly deep dent to show. In regards to wrinkles, honestly all of my similar older bags (4+ Years) have wrinkles, it really depends on the amount of usage and how you take care of it. I noticed it the most in the creases of when you open the flap of a bag.

Does the hardware wear off? The ring is lying on top of it does it get damaged during time ?

I haven't had this issue so far! the hardware is still in new condition and no wearing of the color.

Is it heavy to carry around?

I think in comparison to other shoulder bags its much heavier! I don't think its as heavy as a ysl sunset because the gold chain makes a huge difference!

Personally i just love Chloe’s hardware and the Marcie lacks that unfortunately. But their boho chic vibes overall is what i think sets the brand apart! Thanks for the comment and hope you enjoyed the video :)
