I can see why Beyonce signed them. They have that level of decorum and royal, even, demeanor that I think in many ways Beyonce has worked hard for.

@milanomartin54176 жыл бұрын
Doug Wingate there is nothing racist about speaking positive of a race. Trying to keep people of speaking positive about other races IS racist.
@DougWIngate6 жыл бұрын
Milano Martin I disagree. If you, in the comment section of an Adele video, saw the comment 'white excellence' receiving 60 thumbs up, Nazi bells would start ringing in your head. Thinking different rules apply for different races - now *that* is racist. Unfortunately, positive stereotyping is *still* stereotyping. I'd venture to say that it can be worse. As a white man myself, it feels tempting to look at someone like Elon Musk and say 'white excellence', but I don't, because I know that his skin colour has nothing to do with his achievements. Oh, and because in high school, I studied Black Civil Rights and read this quotation: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." If MLK was alive today he'd tell you that black pride is bullshit. So is white pride, yellow pride or any color pride. If you want to stop being racist, stop looking at humans through race. Simple as that. That's how Singapore, a 50 year old country, managed to nearly end racism despite being more racially diverse than the United States, a 200 year old country unfortunately still dealing with significant racism today.
@milanomartin54176 жыл бұрын
Comparing people of color with white people is just silly. White people have never and never will deal with oppression because of their race. I'm tired of people trying to speak for Dr. Martin Luther Jr. You can't speak for how he would feel about people talking about black excellence. It's one thing to say he wouldn't be for the riots, but that is a completely different thing. He made it clear that he believed in peaceful protest.

She's been had them involved in her work. People have this misconception from shows like American Idol, AGT, and the Voice that it comes instantly, but it takes years of hard work to flourish. They've made it clear that they are a strong part of their work. They could have easily had people do all the work for them and things would have picked up a bit more, but they're actively involved in their work. They are also actresses on the show Grown-ish.
