The triplet's school work shows lots of development and I loved what Felix was doing with his spare time. I used to make lots of paper people, pets etc when I was younger. Kept me busy for hours. Zelda crawling with so much coordination at 6 months is amazing.

If you laminate without cutting then cut afterwards it will peel, so it’s definitely better to cut twice if you can. If you’re laminating lots of small things on one sheet, you can use a little bit of glue (from a glue stick) to keep them in place while laminating.

When laminating make sure you put the sealed edge in first. If put the open bits it can then roll around roller & then break it. I know from experience so please be careful. Love watching your family x

I think it's so nice that you teach your kids very nicely and at such a young age. I really like that. They can do math, you mask like you're a little boy. The flowers with the months turned out very nice! If you plan on doing projects like these more often, getting a Cricut (or a cutting machine from a different brand) can be a game changer. You can design just about anything in the Design Space and then the machine cuts it out for you. It also does laminated/waterproof paper/sticker sheets

You laminated very well! It’s always better to cut out first and then laminate after because the plastic sticks to itself and then the lamination lasts longer and it looks very good to have clear edges.

Your laminating is good, you have done the flowers correctly by cutting them out individually the laminating them leaving a little of the laminate sheet on the outside of the flowers to hold them together.. You will get better with practice. Liz England

As a teacher of 20 years, using a laminate most days, there's no need to cut out twice. Laminate then cut. Save yourself loads of time. I ❤ laminating!

If you laminate without cutting out the flower first then when you cut the flower out the laminating sheet won’t be stuck, if that makes sense, because it laminates around the edges

That’s what I was thinking. Although I did do it that way when I did the bees, just to test it out! No peeling so far but definitely prefer the method of cutting twice. It’s just time consuming.
