Vega being green and eager is a great starting point for a character. I just wish the series had gone longer and we see her grow as well.

Vega was "annoying" because she was driven but green. She had just graduated from the academy and she was green as hell. Young soldiers fresh out of boot camp are the same way, all enthusiasm, romanticism and Star Spangled Banner and not an ounce of wisdom in their heads. Given time she would have grown out of it.

Green as hell, and a possibly boring character development. Maybe the reason why they killed her off the show. It's unfortunate that WIley and Vega, in addition to the other FBI casts, could have been great assets for the series and might have helped in extending the show for a few more episodes if not another season. It's just difficult to make a story out of it.
