I just made these yesterday and it is still soft until today. I bet it’s softness could last for another day or more. ☺️ Just don’t refrigerate, better keep in an airtight container/donut box/bread paper bag at room temp. but be vigilant on the filling coz it might get spoiled first.(place in the fridge if preferred)😊 👍 Day 3 update: still soft ✅✅✅✅

I knew it! I made your recipe on classic bavarian, and it was so soft when I just finished making it, and after 1 or 2 days inside the refrigerator, it wasn't moist and soft as before! So that's the trick, to keep it at room temp, or might as well eat it in one seating! Maybe I'll just do the latter hehehe. Thank you for your recipes! And also I didn't have my piping bag, so I just used a sanitized and clean syringe, it's funny cos it worked! And I also, I added a teaspoon of vanilla in the bavarian cream and put it the fridge for a moment. I really like my donuts kinda cold huhu is it just me? Thanks again! @@user-jd5qj8th9u hi, either donuts or bread when placed in fridge it will dry up & gets hard. but it’s definitely ok if you prefer placing it in the fridge, you can reheat it anyway if you want to make it soft again😊Refrigerating donuts with filling like bavarian is ok too to prevent it from spoiling too fast since it contains egg & milk. I’m just testing its softness on how long it can last to sit at room temp. I’m just glad with the result, it’s day 3 & it is still soft😊Though i’m not sure if the filling could last for another day, it might get spoiled. It’s good to be resourceful. I remember Even before I was a newbie in baking, I didn’t have yet the piping bag so I used a clean(un-used)/sanitized medicine syringe too like you did and surprisingly it’s kinda convenient to use actually haha! 😅

I appreciate your reply! I'll definitely make this once the baking shop opens. I also did your pizza dough recipe, (i have a different pizza sauce recipe, i had to improvise because i dont have the ingredients lol) it turned out pretty thick, a good thing is I put a lot of sauce, so it just came out as a semi dip dish, but the bread is amazing! Thank you! Next time I will not poke it, and not use a rolling pin, to create some pizza pockets! Just hand toss! 🍕 Thank you!

Any idea why mine came out hard. I just made this yesterday and it came out hard and not soft. It was kinda dry as well after I mix everything for the dough. Maybe I put too much flour?

Questions, i did this.. But the donat keeps on absorbing the powder sugar? How to avoid this? What kind of cooking oil are you using?

hi, it's not really with the oil. it's normal that donuts absorbs sugar after a while it has been stored. Humidity is a factor and the container you used to store it where moisture is being trapped. You can avoid it by storing it in a box or bread paper bag or chill in the fridge then reheat anytime you want to eat it. . One hack is to mix an amount of cornstarch to the powdered sugar, it helps to prolong it :)
