Which do you prefer and why : Longbow or Hagbane? I'm conflicted with Hagbane since I see Longbow as an easy 1-hit kill on specials and elites.

Longbow requires advanced AIM accuracy. The theoretical value of Longbow is high but the balance between ideal and reality is difficult. I think Hagbane's cloud control, anti-boss damage, shooting speed are better.

@@chocoB777 great points! It seems it takes about 2 uncharged hits to take down specials, correct? And you're right about needing precise aim for longbow to be proficient.

Also i recently played a deed called "Back to basic" with a good team of just random online people on champion difficulty. I think it was the map Into the nest. It was intense but we made it. I would like to see you do such a deed with a team on Legend or is that not a challenge for you guys?

Hey man, I’ve been wanting to play a new game. I saw this, watched a couple videos and it looks great. Could you tell me if it’s worth the buy? Really unsure I see so many different opinions when searching.

I have over 100+ hours of playtime in this game, I can say it's worth playing. This game features hardcore melee gameplay and challenging stages. It's the nice fun game played with friends and it can be played alone with AI. Plays a lot like Left 4 Dead 2, but a bit hardcore, and good thing is there is a tourist's (and the lowest) difficulty which the enemy is weak and it's suitable for newcomers. But the loot system is okay, but there is a forge system that you can dismantle unwanted gears to get materials for crafting new and upgrading gears. Not a bad game so far, but I don't know what you think.

Everyone has their own point of view that if this game good or not. However, you can refund the game if you buy it through Steam before 2 hours of playtime if you find this game too hard for you or any other reasons.

I have 700+ hours on this game. Compared to other $30 games I've spent my money on, this is beyond worth my investment. In my opinion, this is hands-down the best melee oriented hack n' slash game ever made. All I can say is this is the kind of game you'd play because you just want to keep playing it. There is a sense of progress in terms of gear and levels, but ultimately the only sustainable sense of progress in this game is personal skill. You play it either because you think it's fun, or because you want to get better at it, or mix of both. This game is easy to pick up due to similarities to Left 4 Dead, has a medium skill floor but extremely high skill ceiling. You can play this in the lowest difficulty if you just feel like killing a bunch of rats while listening to a podcast, or play it at the highest to challenge yourself. Good thing the game allows you to become marginally better just by learning a couple of mechanics within the game.

@@KazenoVincent What I meant was you can pay attention to other things while playing on lower difficulties and still perform relatively well. It can be anything: an audiobook, podcast, music playlist, or being on the phone with someone while playing.

When is the Hagbane bow better than the regular longbow? I'm just starting to get into champion and so far just smiting things with the long bow has been better for me so far. I haven't been able to see really how effective the poison is.

Hagbane with barrage is deadly. Especially on bosses. It also offers a lot of horde damage and is less reliant on headshots than a regular bow

There are mods in the steam workshop that let you spawn enemies including bosses in the castle base which you can practice on

Nicki Lindau they have the same explosion damage.the difference is that charge attack has damage from arrow.while using light attack ,u can ignore it

charged attack causes the explosion which places a second dot on top of the initial arrow's dot, hagbane dots stack too

Almost all these replies wrong: hagbane light has no AOE at all, heavy attack adds AOE cloud for hordes.
